My favorite Eddie solo is "Shoeshine Boy" but since that was not an option I chose "This used to be the house of ..." His natural voice is so beautiful and I wish we had more songs like this by him.

I love "Can I" for its sexiness and intimate sound. So smooooooooth. BUT....I agree with AnnaKonda about "This Used to Be...." That was the song that made me fall in love with Eddie's solo work. Love his voice on it. Also love "If You Let Me," but it's not on the list. ;D ;D ;D

I just have compiled Vol. I of my "Eddie's Leads" CDs. I also like "If you Let Me" very much. He sure shows how versatile his voice is there.

What happened to the Listening Room? Isn't there anyone who can put some Eddie solos up there for our David? I would, if I could ;D

I am one of the invisible voters for "This Used To Be The Home Of Johnnie Mae". I just love Eddie's natural tenor and it's here in full effect. I also really like the overall rhythm arrangement. Very well produced.

What happened to the Listening Room? I guess that doesn't hold any interest to the majority of the posters. Not a "hot" enough topic. ;D

I guess that doesn't hold any interest to the majority of the posters. Not a "hot" enough topic. ;D :faint: That actually should be the main thread, in my opinion. Introducing the Tempts' music to those whose collections (like mine) are still in their infancy ...
