Well folks, I must say I'm thoroughly (or however you spell that word) dissapointed in the turn out for the big-hat day party. Next time there's a big-hat holiday, the only folks I'm inviting are Dbaby and Self (even if he missed the whole point and wore something too small.)  |

I didn't realize until about 4 maybe 5 years ago that it was tradition to wear beautiful hats to the derby. I just thought that these women were full fledge divas! |

I love hats. Used to wear them to church all the time when I was I was in high school thinkin' I was cute. Can't do it anymore because no one else does at my church and if I did, I would look like a snob. But anyway. My mom put me on the mailing list for the Essence catalog back then, I loved looking at all those head toppers!!! |

Don't they have the most gorgeous hats! Now those are strictly for divas. And I love the shoes that Essence sells.
