i don't understand why a group that has the best overall motown song ever recorded would fool with audience participation !You know Sukka, you've got a point. Boo on Otis!!! Ivory lays down her placard and sits down on the curb.Come to think of it, I told Otis one time (I'm serious) that I REALLY didn't like them doing that in the show........... You can see my opinion really means a lot to him.

I love Otis for the simple fact that my group is still here. If the tempts ceased to exist I woul be very upset. So, Otis has my vote for president.

they smile in your face ,all the time their trying to take your place, the backstabbers,backstabbers....
if a person likes my girl as much as we all do, we would want to hear the song in its entirety without some boozed up salesman or secretary screeching off key so that the money we spent went down the tubes.

And you know this how? 'Cause someone TOLD you? Because the someone who told you was told by someone else? So what is that, like fourth hand information? .............. You get mad at me for calling you a dog because of something I observe personally yet you call O a "backstabber" based on forth hand information? That's not vewwy nice.

I never end up resenting Otis for the turnover, because it always produces someting good. Something that appeals to me. I guess if it didn't appeal to me, then I'd end up really getting pissed. Look at it this way, the Product is still hot.

Anyone could say that it SEEMED that Otis was always looking out for number one... but no one can say with absolute certainty that he's a backstabber.

This seems to me to be headed back to a place I don't wanna go no more. OTIS WILLIAMS OWNS THE RIGHTS TO THE NAME TEMPTATIONS AND CAN PUT ANYBODY IN THE GROUP HE WANTS! If you don't like his choices stop listening to the music. That's the only thing you can do. We were not present when the dismantling of the classic five happened. Nor were we there when Dennis came and went. Because unless you have some concrete evidence of some impropieties or wrongdoing all you, I or any of us have is at the least second hand info. The recent members of the temps I have talked to who are no longer there say it was more about money than about some personal difference with Otis. So Otis doesn't pay well.....I can think of a few poor paying jobs can't you. I believe Dennis came back one time after working at a low paying job and deciding life with Otis was better than what he was doing. If it was more than pay we still haven't heard Otis side of why they were let go so if you ask me...not that I care if you do.......you need to BACK OFF OTIS WILLIAMS because he is not the reason for what happened to the Temptastions but he is the reason there is a Temptations today!

Who are you yelling at? Me? 'Cause I didn't say anything... and I'm not trying to go anywhere. You can say this with the absolute knowledge that he had nothing to do with what happened to the group? Just the fact that he (along with the others) signed a sheet of paper letting David Ruffin out of the group means that he had something to do with what happened to the group in 1968. He helped bring Dennis Edwards into the group; that's another occurrence. Where did anyone say, "I don't like the current group." S/he might have expressed a preference for one of the earlier Temptations groups (or members), but I don't believe I've read where someone said they didn't like his choices. Again, s/he might not like them as much as another person who has been in that spot. I digress, Aba. You don't want to go anywhere, but like I said before, I ain't tryna take you, either.

He didn't have a choice but to continue on with the group. He'd probably be homeless now if he didn't have a group. That's his meal ticket. Letting it go!
