i have to tell you this cute story about constance. we were sitting in church one recent sunday and the speaker was mentioning about resisting temptations. little conti's ears perked up when she heard him say the word temptations, so she stands up in the middle of the talk on the pew and says loudly-i want temptations! i want david ! where are the temptations! people in the 4 or 5 rows around us looked at her confused and amused!LOL! she loves her tempts anytime, anywhere! ;D

Maybe you shouldn't give her so much sugar before you go to church.

Now, Bill Robinson didn't write "Mickey's Monkey", it was Lamont Dozier and the Holland Bros. The Miracles did sing "My Girl", as well as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5. That's a hard song to sing, because you need the harmonies as well as the strong lead. I'm surprised the Spinners, the Originals, and the Isley Bros. never tackled "My Girl". Or maybe they have? ;D

constance turned 6 yesterday! she was so happy! she had a cupcake party at her kindergarten class, watched mr. rogers, then she had 5 vid clips with me watching j5,supremes, 2 tempts, and 4tops -all on sweet sounds of soul-sullivan tape. she then wanted to pick a video for the afternoon. she went in to the vid collection with dozens of tapes and dvd's and chose of all things to watch the JESUS tape which has been shown around the world and she watched the segment of his agony, death, and resurrection. elise and i were surprised that she would pick that of all things to watch on her birthday! she had 4 friends and all of our family with james and his wife and kids. conti got toss across, 2 dresses, a box with 3 pairs of princess shoes,a couple of dress up board games, some coloring thingies and of course, cake and ice cream. she got $50 from grandma/grandpa. she also saw the thread of edafan's pix and she liked the photos! we also listened to some audio clips of the tempts. she was so happy! we are too!

Boy, you and Antwone Fisher really have that in common. I just finished reading his book. I promise, it seemed like the Dramatics were on every other page.
