Wow, I went to 7 proms. No joke. I loved each one of them. They were all special, because all of the girls were my friends. I guess I can say I was fortunate enough not to have to pay for a tux. I did promotions for a tuxedo shop and mine was always free. That was cool.
Now, My Prom, was very much fun. I danced all night and even though my date was a drag, it didn't matter. She was just there for the picture. I danced with every hot girl at the prom. It was awesome. It was also special because I was in a limo with my best friend. My twin sister. It was her only prom, and she enjoyed it very much. She went with one of my very good friends at the time. He didn't get to get freaky, cuz I had my eye on him the whole time.

I don't believe my youngest older brother would do the same for me either, sukkafu. He's 21. I know my other brother, the 22-year-old, has my back. He says he does, anyway. Neither of them has been put to the test yet, though.

May I say I really enjoyed all the photos of you beautiful ladies and guys. Ivory, Tadallsw and Peach were the cream on the top in those phots. It sounds like all had a great time. Td...you had some afros in your life baby!!!!!! ;D ;D. And thank you Ivory for saving me from asking which one you went out with...Kid or Play? ;D
Now they didn't have cameras when I went to the prom so I can spare you my pictures. What's even worse is I don't exactly remember where it was.....I believe it was Constitution Hall in DC because we had 711 people in our graduating class. I do remember the after parties though and I came home with my girlfriend at noon the next day. We had a Pool/breakfast party at one my classmates houses and we all had a great time.

Oh, yinz guys are sharing pictures! NEAT! I'll have to put some of mine from Barrister's Ball up. I didn't go to prom, but Barrister's was like the law school version of the prom. I went with friends - the Single Girls Troupe. I found my dress the morning of the ball (which was on Valentine's Day). Everyone came over to our apartment to get ready, which was an incredibly awesome bonding experience. We then went to Kyoto, this Japanese hibachi place with the greatest food. Everyone was dressed informally, so when our group of 1 guy and six girls walked in all dressed to the nines in glittery dresses, kids kept saying "why are they dressed up, mommy" and "there's only one boy"... I guess we did look like a harem, to be quite honest about it. Then we got back to the law school where a shuttle took us to the golf club place where it was being held. There was a band and one of the songs the band did was "Let's Get It On" so I was happy. I tried a glass of champagne, because I thought I looked so chic holding the flute, but it was disgusting, so I switched to sparkling cider and later a Madras. The music was pretty bad when the DJ played. But the hors d'oeuvres were excellent. Nice brownies!!! I had a ton of fun dancing and schmoozing with my classmates. Then afterwards, there was an afterparty, where about 18 of us went to this cat's house and stayed up watching nick at nite till about 3 am. It was all good fun, a welcome break from the day to day stress of school. Cadeho - great pictures! You and the young lady look darling!!! Ivory - you and your friends look so cool! You look like a more glamourous version of The Mary Jane Girls, getting ready to do a show in chic 80s attire! Elaine's dress is nice, and you are totally working the slit! And in the second picture with you seated, what a diva like pose!!! The dress is LOVELY and the hair swept to the side is just glamourous. Very nice! And TDALLAS!!!! WOMAN YOU WERE A 70s BABE! I am loving the cute Afro, the earrings, the dress. It's all wonderful. And you look so Hollywood in the pink coat with the fur!!! MAN, I wish I were around then!!! You look like a glamourous Ruffin Girl. Poohshunny, I love your afro and the white suit. You were a handsome couple then and at the reunion! Peach, I am having trouble seeing your pictures! Now, I have to share pictures of Barrister's AND the many concert nites I've experienced that are 100 times better than any prom that I missed! Thanks for sharing these stories and pics guys, I feel like we're bonding! LOL.

I'll have to post the pictures of me during Homecoming and Cottonball this year. And when y'all see them you'll know why I have no intention of going to any shows with her in the near future (kidding) because she is WAY cuter than me!!! (which is how it should be! ) I tried a glass of champagne, because I thought I looked so chic holding the flute,Now see that's my ONLY reason for drinking martinis! but it was disgustingYou think that's bad, you should try a martini!!!! I neglected to mention that my friend Elaine, shown in those photos is one half of the team who originally christened me "Ivory Fair." ................ And now seeing how, ahem, LIGHT skinned I am ;D I'm sure you can see why.

I really enjoyed seeing those pictures! Since I don't have prom pics, perhaps I can share pictures from Greek weddings or concerts where I have dressed up.
I love the outfits...Cadeho, Ivory, TDallas, Peach....great pics! Although in Ivory's pictures, I like both the prom dress and the class reunion dress much better than the black one with the white collar. I also love the 70s outfits in Tdallas' pics. I'll scan some pictures and put them up later.

Ivory, you should go for the sour apple martinis. Then you can have the cool glass. I've never tasted a real martini, but I'm scared to. Sour apples are not strong, so I like that. A black haus is good too, it tastes like raspberry koolaid.
