I just wanted to share it with everyone!! We are getting pounded.... maybe the drought is finally over!?  Really, we have had a few years of very dry winters, including this one. It felt so good to bundle up with my daughter and brave our way to the mailbox, snow flying in our face. (It hurt!) We laughed like maniacs and played until our hair was soaked....then came in for hot cocoa and cookies. ;D I guess I love it because it's such a rare occurrence here now! Peach |

We did get FEET. Crazy!! I'm wondering if I'll ever get dug out because they said just *one* scoop shovel of snow weighs 12 pounds.  Guess I should have been lifting weights to get ready for this! Peach |

Sukkafu, you must have been reading my mind when you wrote that.... I was out there yesterday, with my snow shovel, frustrated as all get out. This stuff was so wet and heavy, I couldn't move it a stitch. I tried, in vain, for about 10 minutes, then threw the shovel into a drift....and said a few swear words.  I gave up and came in for hot cocoa!!!  Hee! I'll wait for it to melt. Peach |

2-) Yahoo for western colorado not getting ANY snow! I think it was all getting caught in the Rocky Mountians or something, because it was cloudy for like, a DAY and then it was kinda warm and stuff again! My friend Grant was in Canada for spring break and he got stuck there because DIA was closed, and he was really mad because he went there to go skiing and it didn't even snow there!
