A lot of the guys don't have the fundamentals of the game. Its all street ball nowadays. That is why I am so impressed with Tim Duncan he has an all around game. He forgot about it on that last shot! He should get the PATRICK EWING award for worst shot taken at crunch time!

the name of the shot-is flunky flunky brick way! ;D too many technicals by referee joey crawford- who calls the most in the nba. it took the mavs out of the game. so spurs even the series, but the mavs now have the home court advantage. we'll see what's next.on to dallas. they get any more technicals up there, they might call them TDALLAS!

I almost made that same sound when Robert Horry missed that wide-open three everyone thought was going to be a heartbreaker. Except mine went more like, bo-oing-oing-oing! (You have to hear me actually do it; I crack myself up.)

ABA,
You may have answered this one early, but do you have season tickets to the Spurs? How many NBA games did you see a year, or, to get back to a Motown beat, are you like Jamerson, when you go home (retire) you want to leave your work behind. Jamerson Jr. said his father did not like to play the guitar at home.
I assume you may be watching the Nets during the playoffs. Sometimes I've heard people who were very good in a certain field do nothing with that field when they retire. They can't stand to watch others "play" or work and do it badly.

Jane I had a 12 year professional career, followed by being the 2nd african american in a management position with an NBA franchise. I did radio, tv, had my own shows in both, covered the Nets on radio and tv for almost 14 more years before going on to my own shows. I follow baseball and basketball now but I don't attend games unless I'm working. I don't like paying customers. That's another story kind of like working for the gov't. You know the I pay your salary deal. The average person cannot relate to the money these people make and when they miss a free throw or a shot and I hear them say, you making a million dolars a year and can't make a free throw. i know how hard athletes work at their profession and I can't stand to hear people talk that way!
Kim....Kareem is travling around to the games on the NBA LOVE IT LIVE tour with other NBA greats!

Do you think Kareem can contain himself and not root for his former teamate. I know Magic was kind of obvious in rooting for Byron to get to the Finals last year.

well, the nba likes paying customers or else there wouldn't be any money for the hard working athletes! fans are what makes the need of entertainment-if no paying customers-no tempts!
