I thought I disopsed of the FAT Jokes around Christmas time when pot (belly) shots were aimed at Dennis,and The Xmas special came on and their's Otis looking like Saint Nick at night !(I was told..Face it Mike,Dennis is Fat) Now Otis's buttons were getting ready to pop the cameraman in the eye,and I asked what's up with that ?(Tee-Hee,Hee) We got to tell Otis in a nice way that he's "slightly" overweight? Give me a break! FACE IT ,Otis is FAT,just like it was said about Dennis! What's the big deal and why do we have to step on eggshells to tell Otis,and say it to Dennis any way you feel like? And someone has the NERVE ;D to call me "Over critical" ? Ain't No Justice !
Sukkafu aren't you on a diet right now? Otis and Dennis are over 60 they are entitled to be overweight if they choose. Obviously they both love to eat. Dennis has become clean and sober in his later years and that's what happens to your body sometimes once you become clean you gain weight. And as far as Otis is concerned he looks healthy and happy in person so obviously it's not stopping him from dancing he get's down just like the rest of the group on stage. People gain weight it's a fact of life Aretha, Otis, Dennis are no different from any other person their age it's just that they are in the public eye.
I know I'm not the same size I was at 21 but then again other than Vanessa Williams who is? LOL!!! ;D Oh I forgot Ivory is right?

Otis is become clean and sober too! Both of them got weak at the knees at the same time.Both of them look happy and healthy and Dance ,just like the rest of the group.
i am not the same as i was when i was 18. i am 44 almost 45. but i have lost 30 lbs and i only have 10 more lbs to go!
i eat well, just stay away from all the unnecessary sweets. i also have a cheat day every 10-14 days so i feel more in control and not a diet robot.
people have to change lifestyle. metabolism at 20 is higher than at 60. if you still eat and drink like 20 you'll get fat if you don't exercise and watch your self.
aretha = otis + dennis= a formula for severe health problems.
since we love those 3 and wish them health and long life and success singing, we'd hope they'd lose weight and get in shape for themselves -not for us.
Sukka I'm happy that you've lost weight you are still young enough to change your metabolism. I'm sure it's much more difficult for someone in their 60's to lose weight. And really when you get that age you have to be careful about physical activity too. And being that Dennis has never been that large before in his life it's very difficult because he isn't used to carrying the weight around. And when you've never had a real weight problem you don't know where to start. I'm glad that he has lost weight. Lets all cut the brothers and sister some slack and pray for their health.

Well now if the person who called you over-critical was the SAME person who wanted to politely suggest to O that he might need to shed a few pounds then you MIGHT have a point.
But as I think I may have mentioned before, I don't care how much either one of them weigh, as long as they KEEP SINGING!

I obviously have to find a handle and add a clasp.
But the back of the box is giving me trouble. It's just bare wood. I don't necessarily want another photo of the group. I tried to scan the cover of my EOS set because I thought that image was kinda cool, but the scan didn't look good. I also thought about doing a collage of my old concert stubs, but they're not very colorful and it looks kinda bland.
And note: the front of the box looks kinda raggedy in that photo above, that was just a "rough draft" so to speak. The final product looks a LOT better.
