Good morning Sukka!
My favorite all-time Christmas show IS... "A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS" (As my avatar may lead one to believe). Linus' recitation of what Christmas is all about. I also have the CD by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. Beautiful Christmas jazz on that CD.

Yeah, Charley Brown is up there. I also like a movie that came out in the '80s called "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," but you never see it on TV anymore.

hey hey hey! it's ...... nish, you are too cool! i have the vince guaraldi cd, and the kids declare-charlie brown christmas. vince died too young. aba, the white christmas video has him singing it too. i also love that song''when i'm worried can't fall asleep, i count my blessings instead of sheep, then i fall asleep counting my blessings''- it always amazes me that irving berlin(not his real name) wrote that, white christmas, god bless america, and he wasn't even a practicing jew let alone a religious person.

He did raise his three daughters as Protestants. Perhaps there was a reason he did not embrace the Jewish faith, even though he was a Jew by race. www.time.com/time/sampler/article/0,8599,190220,00.html

I love the Charlie Brown Christmas, the Grinch ( the animated version) Home Alone and A Christmas Story. When I was in high school mmy friends and I would get together and watch the Bevis and Butthead Christmas. I don't know,it seemed really funny at the time. I also love watching the Nutcracker ballet. I performed in our local production numerous times growing up so it has a special place in my heart. In fact, this past Saturday I went to go see it performed by my old dance company. At the end of the show the director asked all the studio alumni to come up on stage as part of the 25th anniversary celebration for the show. It was really exiting for me. I miss performing a lot.
