last time i saw the otis williams gang was a heart stoppin show in temecula california. harry wasn't there due to surgery recovery and otis couldn't dance due to knee surgery but the renditions by the four plus the band were incredible!
i got my $$$ back from the cancelled dennis review but
otis and the gang are back to san diego on the 2nd of may! i'm hoping otis' knees will hold up and maybe ol' harry's boomin' bass will be present.
wish me luck!
one day i'd love to see the temps/4 tops together!! ;D

Hey sukkafu! You should think about coming East in July to Wolf Trap! The Tempts and Tops are there this year July 23, 24.

my daughter is a news reporter for a paper in the baltimore area and i contacted Damon Harris to see if he wanted to be interviewed and he agreed ! my daughter is getting her editor's clearance to do the story. if you want to see my daughter Christine Caruso's features she is at www.cecilwhig.com - then click on 'advanced search' and look up caruso under 'author' and sample her journalistic wares. we drove to l.a. today in my '99 taurus sho with the mach audio sound system cranked up with the Temps anthology and all had a blast. we also listened to Smokey's best and HIS version of Get Ready - not too shabby! we also listened to jagger and the stones and their version of ain't too proud to beg. 8) when we ate at the world famous Canter's deli on fairfax they had the radio on and we heard just my imagination and a supremes hit and a miracles song.we went to dodger stadium and sat behind the dugout and watched a terrific game-is there anything more American than baseball, corned beef on rye,Hollywood and MOTOWN?? ;D |

Sukkafu, one of our fellow Tempts fans "Circuit Judge" went to see the Tempts last night in what was their second show back from England. O had knee surgery a while ago and apparently he's better than ever! Usually the Tempts go on first which you would think, for a Tempts fan, that would be a bad thing, but I like it that way. When the Tempts are done, you still have Theo, I mean the Tops there to entertain you, so it's not like the show's over. And they really do a great job. Jonel is right, you should definitely join us at Wolf Trap! |
