my parents brought me up with music from sinatra,davis jr.,ellington,armstrong,holliday,chubby checker,joe williams,etc. i watched ed sullivan at grandma's house every sunday in brooklyn ny in the 60's and saw supremes,streisand,4 tops, temps of course, smokey, and lots of others.. the music and the lyrics are timeless... the memories asscoiated with those tunes are unforgettable.. |
