in listening to this song, i like it but the real neat part is when david sings the lead, then the other 4 tempts sing it's you that i need. paul sings it first, then as he is finishing the word need, otis is already starting to sing it's you, then so forth with eddie, then melvin is the last one. it'a a nice little 4 blend into each other part that has them connected together without hesitation. ;D

I love that part too. They really know how to break it down.

Yeah, Loneiness Made Me Realize... is one of my favourite David songs along with I Could Never Love Another (After Loving You).

You are right on as always, sukka. I love when they do that, as you know they did it also in a few songs, like My Girl and Hey Girl. They are always in unison. To me that is what true singing is, they can SANG...

[shadow=red,left,300]That's a great David lead. I was just listening to it yesterday, "Beauty's Only Skin Deep" is another one of my favorite David leads, along with "You'll Lose A Precious Love", "Ain't Too Proud To Beg", etc.[/shadow]

Hey Diva, love your fancy print. Another great song already mentioned was I Wish It Would Rain. I've always loved the harmony and lead of Since I Lost My Baby. I can hear them over and over again and they still sound great till this day. That's one thing about The Tempts music that even groups of today won't or can't enjoy, longevity. Thirty-seven years later we are still loving My Girl.
