Hey everybody.......I'm back. Got in early Friday morning and been on California time ever since. Had a WONDERFUL time!!! Beautiful weather, ate far too many french fries, rode my favorite rides over and over again, had my picture made with Goofy and all in all just forgot all about everything else but having fun! Hey, that's what it means to vacate, right? Thanks for the "shout out"!!! ;D

jonel. you were at disneyland or disney world? if you were in anaheim, you were about 90 mile north of me! did you get to see the beach at all or did you just do dizzy land? did you hit san diego at all or mexico?  we glad you izz back babay! |

Hey! I'm so happy you had a blast! It sounds like a ton of fun! I only saw Mickey when I was 3, so I was scared out of my wits AND, to top it all off, I was too short to go on any of the rides! (I must have been as short as Ivory then! OH! OUCH! WOW! Hehehehehe!!!!!!! Ok, gonna go hide under my bed now.......)

Sukka, I was out your way. The only time I saw the beach was from the plane on the way home. We even tried to get on standby so we could get a free trip, but it was not to be. We flew up over the coast and then out in between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Dbaby, girl, you gotta do Disney as a tall person now...'cause you will love it. I've been to the Florida Kingdom 5 times and I wanted to see Walt's original park in California. Sukka, We took a one day jaunt into Hollywood and y'all can keep those huge, fast, clogged freeways...WOW! That is something I don't think I could get used to.

Jonel, it seems you had a fantastic time, but do you have your ears. Never been to Mickeys house, I must go one of these days. I hope you stopped to see The Grand Canyon, now that is truly AWESOME. Glad you are back and had a safe trip. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures. ;D ;D ;D

disney land is about 500 acres - disneyworld is 50 times bigger.  disney's california adventure opened up a couple of yrs ago and it's across the street. did you go there jonel? i left l.a. for good in 1987 for san diego and the traffic is definitely better down here.plus no smog like l.a. and no QQQQUUAAAAKKKKESS!!!  |

Ohh...it's so hard to decide which is better. I like them both. "Pirates of the Carribean" was definitely better---much better and "Fantasmic" was better...but I miss the restaurants and Epcot. California Adventure was awesome and we especially enjoyed a flight simulation ride called "Soaring Over California".

Vacations are the greatest, up until you have to come back to earth. I must see Mickey one of these years, right now I'm planning on my first cruise. Maybe next year I'll go. I know your heart is still in Disney. ;D

Now a CRUISE with the Tempts, THAT would be fun! The Review did a cruise last year I think, can you imagine? Wow! Of course we'd drive them all so crazy that they'd jump overboard, but it would fun while it lasted! |
