I call that living it up. A must is The Grand Canyon tour, it's long nine and a half hours by bus from Vegas but well worth it. I'm adding, to hit the Jackpot. Sounds good to me. ;D

i like where this is goin'! should we meet at the hard rock hotel with the guitar out front since this is a musical excursion? the food is plentiful, lots to see, and like my bros fuf and ken_du, the new york new york is astounding as a hotel. don't forget, we need to see the rat pack impersonators! jonel, the mgm grand has a fairly new theme park with rides in the back, and we met betty boop back there! they have a basement shopping mall with a shop devoted to the wizard of oz memorabilia and gifts!

No Sukka, if we're going to Vegas then we need to see the Tempts impersonators!! And when they get done, we'll get up there and show them how to REALLY do it! ;-) Dbaby, I thought "the Hard Rock Cafe" was on your itenerary when your class went to DC. Did you end up not going? No Sukka, life is like a box of Krispy Kremes, enjoy it while it's hot 'cause it's no good when it's stale (I have NO idea what that means, just felt like saying it!) Now, here's the thing, the Tempts play in Vegas tomorrow or the day after. Everyone got their bags packed?

No, we waited in line for Fords Theater FOREVER and for whatever reason (I think it was the line) we went to some sports game place instead. I WAS SO MAD!

hey ive, i just called the new york new york hotel in las vegas. they told me that the MOTOWN CAFE is no longer there! did you ever see that place? it was terrific-it had wax figures of the supremes, it had a giant 45 overhead on the ceiling, it had the temptations cadillac convertible or was it the 4 tops, and they had all kinds of music, pictures of the groups, and food was soul food, and the lady on the phone said that the cafe wasn't making any $$$$ so they took it out and put in the espn zone! the nerve of some people!

Whoa.. how long have I been away? Like 3 days? When did these options pop up? Anyway... I'm sure I'm a disgrace to this page.. (oooh I get to use one!) . I have not seen any of the Temptations perform live other than on tv. You all may fire at will. I was hoping they'd stop through here... Dennis was here but I couldn't make it. Last eyar I did get to see the Four Tops and I didn't know Theo had been added to their group. The year before they had the Martha Reeves and the Vandellas here. I missed that one too thanks to storms. Free concerts. I was hoping they were on a Motown streak that would eventually bring the Tempts here... Oh well... Otis will have to stop by Richmond some time.

Oh well Dbaby, you didn't miss much. There's never been too much Weird Al memorbilia at any Hard Rock cafe I've been to. I'd take TGI Fridays over it ANYDAY! Sukka, we can't have a Kripsy Kreme hotel because I might injure myself trying to eat it! ........... I've only been to Vegas once, and it was just a few weeks before New York, New York was scheduled to open, so no, I haven't been to the Motown Cafe. Dbaby, when you come back, tell everyone about how you climbed the rope to get to the Tempts statue or whatever it was downstairs. Cadeho, you mean the smilies? They've always been there. You're in Richmond? As in VA? I thought they come by there all the time. Jonel just saw them or the Tops or someone in one of those "R" cities in VA. That's one reason I want to move there, the Tempts come to that part of the world more often....... but it's ok if you've never been to a show, we'll let it slide.
