You ever notice that you never hear cat-owners say that they don't HATE dogs or they're not a "dog person," despite the fact that they're talking about overly-dependant little creatures who not only are high maintenance, but also can't go poopie by themselves without it being a group project?

They are not the notifiers. As stated, they merely watch and make sure the dogs do their job efficiently. That's what I pay...er...feed them for. Else the dogs might get lazy and simply howl at sirens ineffectively.

well, ivory , this cat owner has had 4 cats since 1994.
elise had 3 cats in the 70's and early 80's.
we had one dog and the dog belonged to our dead friends so they were going to put him to sleep but we kept him for 2 years more until he was near death in great pain at 14 yrs old with 6 tumors and took him to the animal shelter to be put to sleep.

we've had 6 finches, a canary, and a turtle.

we've had a couple of lizards for a short while.

for the 9th straight year we are members of the zoological society of san diego. we also support ecology and all our cats and dog were spayed or neutered.
