I'm watching the latest reality show, "Millionaire Bachelor" or "Bachelor Millionaire," whatever it's called. Anyone else checking this out?
I know a CERTAIN group who has a CERTAIN song that would have been a PERFECT theme song ............ their name escapes me though at the moment. ;D

I wann see that show where they lie to the girls and tell them this dude is a millionaire but he's not. Serves those girls right! You shouldn't marry for money . but everytime I say I'm going to watch something like that, I always forget

This is it! .......... If you live in the Eastern half of the US, it's probably on your Fox station right now. Right now they're throwing a ball for the girls and the guy. They brought in 20 dresses for the 20 girls to fight over. Talk about some drama!

I didn't know it was a marathon! I went to my aunt's house after church and turned it on TVLAND when I saw that it was on, but I didn't see Redd Foxx. So I turned it.

Dun dun dun duhn uh (Starts humming theme song) "Elizabeth, I'm comin' to join ya honey!" It trips me out when he starts gettin' on Ethel! Who likes Sanford (the show)? I don't care for it cuz its not the same not having Lamont around for Fred to call a dummy.

Earthangel....the arguments between Fred and Esther are classic. They were great friends in real life like most of the people on the show. During a contract dispute, Grady "was left" in charge of the fort while Fred was in St. Louis. This went on for a number of episodes until the dispute was settled. It started with Redd asking for a dressing room with a window and escalating from there although I believe it was about money all along. When Grady, Esther and Fred get into it, it is side-splitting laughs. ;D
The show has always been about Redd and Rollo was always a friend of Lamont. Yippie, Yippie Yay! Look who got out of jail today is what Fred says about Rollo all the time.
There were a couple of versions of Sanford after the original. The first where Rollo moves in with him while Lamont is working on the pipeline in Alaska. That show continued to air on NBC. Then one more version called simply Sanford aired on ABC with the premise that Fred was engaged to this woman who's brother did not want Fred to marry her. In the meantime, Lamont or Desmond his real name starred briefly in his own series called Baby, I'm Back with Denise Nicolous of Room 227 fame. He left Sanford and Son because he felt typecast as Lamont and wanted to persue other roles which never happened. He was in a couple of movies but nothing to name.

Isn't he a preacher now, which is what most old actors end up doing?

I don't know if he still is but at one time he may have been. And why do you say that's what old acters do? ;D
