I just think that the people who go on shows like "Married By America" are going too far. What kind of marriage is that? Meet some stranger and 30 seconds later say "I do?". The thing is, marriage is a more serious relationship than that. But hey, if the "contestants" or whatever wanna be entertainers to all of America, nothin' I can do about it. Because thats exactly what it is, entertainment. And we all liked to be entertained. Which is why I might watch. ;D. But we all know most crazy shows like this end in divorce. Oh, and on American Idol's special: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, people were screwin up good songs. Of course lots of people auditioned with My Girl (most who weren't good at all), but when this dude messed up For Once I my Life, I was like uh-uh. I agredd with that Ryan Seacrest on what he said about songwriters being in pain when their songs get messed up like that.

... I'm spent! OMG, he was probably the worst, wanting to argue with folks. "You're fat, you're an @#$%, and you're played." Didn't he sing My Girl? Then he had the slits up the sides of those jeans. Sexy... or not.

What happened to the guy named "Coffee" or something like that? Is he still in it? .......... I haven't seen any of AI since the beginning. Angel, I'm a bridal consultant and I've had TONS of customers who have NO idea that marriage is something to be taken seriously. It seems to be a rampant problem in America.

Ok, "Married By America" premiers in a half an hour. That's the show where people line up to have America pick a spouse for them to marry. Should be interesting.

Don't get me wrong I like some of them but "Married By America"? Come on!

Ahhh, y'all are no fun! Sukka, I half considered starting a thread called "which Tempt should Ivory marry" in which I'd list the type of man I was looking for and let y'all pick but I thought that was just a little bit TOO self-absorbed. (Self absorbed? Me?) But to answer your question, I'd have to say Ali would win that contest HANDS DOWN!

Speaking of reality TV, I got this from a site where the lady who posted it said she got it from People.
'Idol' Contestant Charged with Assault
STEPHEN M. SILVERMAN
Jaered Andrews was one of this season's "American Idol" hopefuls until he was disqualified from the show for undisclosed reasons on Jan. 30. But now we might know why: The former finalist has been charged with assault in connection with a bar fight in Pennsylvania last November that ended in the death of another man, according to the Smoking Gun Web site.
Andrews, of Youngstown, Ohio, reportedly surrendered to police this past Friday on a warrant charging him with the assault of Thomas Blakeley, 39, who later died. Andrews was released on $5,000 bond and faces a March 7 preliminary hearing on the misdemeanor charge.
Police tell the Smoking Gun that Andrews and some friends had been celebrating his selection as an "Idol" semifinalist when they began arguing with Blakeley.
According to the criminal complaint, Andrews told police that he punched Blakeley once in the face, causing him to fall back on the outside pavement "with his eyes closed" and strike his head.
Blakeley was then allegedly struck twice by Jerrold Allen, an Andrews crony who has been charged with aggravated assault. As reported in the police complaint, an autopsy found that Blakeley died of blunt force trauma to the head.
For its part, FOX has refused to discuss why Andrews was disqualified from the show, according to the Smoking Gun.
