Richard Street and his group will be flying into New York City from London, England to appear and perform on a special Motown Show. I beleive Martha Reeves and The Spinners will be performing in concert as well. This show will take place on June 10th at the Manhattan Center.

ohhhhh you East Coasters!!! I m soooo jelous!!!! you always get the great shows!!! I would soo love to see Richard!!!
maybe its time to start thinking about moving closer that way.. Wisconsin is prob. as far as id go tho... but it would be closer!!!!
I wonder if its going to be taped?

I have seen him a few years back here in the Pacific Northwest at a small casino. Had front row seats. I got to go up on stage and sing "My Girl" with him. He put on a GREAT show!
But there was a black cloud in regards to the show. It was billed and advertised as "The Temptations". Nothing was said about Richard Street. My ticket stubs say "The Temptations". People bought tickets thinking they were going to see Otis's Group.
When they came out on stage - it was announced that it was Richard Street. You could see people looking around at other people like "WHAT"??
I was glad I was there - it was a great and wonderful show - and Richard sang his heart out.

I dunno, but anyway, Harry was supposed to be there and it was announced that he was ill, and I later found out that he wasn't with the group anymore. (It wasnt officially announced at the time of the show I guess) I was disappointed for that, but Ron made up for it, needless to say.  |
