Coey, Coey, Coey, you bring back so much enthusiam that I remember when I saw them..  Did Theo with his fine self sing, "Always & Forever"? I think he did some of that song acapella(sp) one time..just too fabulous! Next time you have to sit on the right or the left to shake some hangs and hold your book up for autographs, thats the way I did it. (The lights are shining in their faces in the middle - so they can't see everything) Loved your review - I know you will never forget that show! |

Coey, So glad you really enjoyed the Temptations.
A couple of years ago I saw them with the Tops, and the Tops went first then too. But their reception was nothing like what the Tempts got.
When the Temptations came on the stage, everyone did the same thing that you saw. The audience stood up and clapped and clapped before a note had been sung. Since the Temptations appear at this theatre every couple of years, the crowd knew exactly what wonderful music was in store for them. Actually in November I am going back to that theatre to see them again although this time the Tops will not be appearing with them.
I saw them twice in April, and they were fantastic. I cannot find enough adjectives to say how good they were. The audience went wild. They are so professional it is an absolute joy to see them. All the audiences that have seen this year's show have raved about the Temptations. And Otis is getting a tremendous amount of praise. His dancing is amazing. I am looking forward to seeing them at two concerts in September.

BTW, I liked DB Woodside too and Terron Brooks. Christian Payton was also very good. I think all the actors were good in their roles and captured the essence of the characters' personalities.
No doubt about the Temptations "Still Tempting"!

Hey (((Corey))))! I really Enjoyed your review!! Girl, you brought back the Excitment I'm use to reading for a Temptations' concert! The thing with (((Terry))) was kind of disturbing. I hope everything is o.k. on that end!!
I Love your new picture!! It's brings back memories of the Excitment of getting ready for a Temptations' concert!! LOL!
Well, I got a Surprise this evening where I got the same seat for my Star Plaza concert in Dec. that I've had the last two years!! Plus it's on my Sweet 44th birthday too!! TTYAL!

Glad you enjoyed the concert, Coey! Al is definitely a sweetheart - I just love him to death. He's currently working on another CD but I'm not sure how soon it will be out. You've now made me anxious to see another Tempts concert. And I would LOVE the chance to see Theo - I haven't had the pleasure of seeing the Tops in person yet. Thanks for the great review!  |
