Peach, You are listening to the Ali, Theo line-up of Temptations on 'Stay' and Some Enchanted Evening, which was the greatest grouping since the Classic five. Ali never cut a bad song during his thirteen years with the group. Compare all the albums between 1983 and 96 with the last two, and I think you'll find what's missing. A group singing Temptations songs needs one of two things. Mr David Sea..or Mr Ali Woodson. ;D
Now I'll go hide waiting for (((Mikey)))
Don't hide,baby...you have a right to your own opinion......no matter how wrong it is! We ALL know better...and truth be told....you do,too! What's missing is a HALL OF FAME SOUND !..except for "Together Again..(LOOK WHAT YOU STARTED). Ali never cut a bad song in the thirteen years with the group? :bonk: He never cut a GRAMMY -WINNING song..either. But Ruffin didn't also so that puts him in good company ..right? WRONG....because Ruffin's work with the Tempts was not ignored....even Ivory paid attention to him...and that's saying something.Woodson's work is mostly viewed as a TWO SONG STANDOUT..."Treat Her Like A Lady" & " Lady Soul"..Now the best after the HOF6 is the "Power" line-up Dennis,Glenn,Richard,Melvin & Otis, the Woodson era can't top that chemistry that the "Power" line-up had. Notice I'm giving you a break because I love you....I know you said "Classic Five"....I said HOF6....because I don't want you to look bad...because saying that the Woodson era was better than the Cloud Nine,Ball Of Confusion,I Can't Get Next To You Era...is Just Your Imagination...so Don't Let The Joneses Get You Down..sweetheart......the Woodson era was good...but ..let's face it....you can't argue with what I just put down...Ivory ain't even THAT crazy!...I see you & Jane been comparing notes!
