If you were born in the days of TV, radio shows/plays bore you. I guess I'm proof that there's an exception to ever rule. I'm a BIG Burns and Allen fan. The TV show of course, but I love the radio programs just as much. I've also purchased several of the old radio programs for my father and I enjoy listening to them too. The Shadow, The Lone Ranger, Fibber McGee and Molly and my favorite "The Romances of Helen Trent" ("that because a woman is 35, or older, romance in life need not be over…" ) Actually, I credit my strong imagination to television, specifically Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Maybe the people you've tested didn't take enough trips with Trolly to the Land of Make Believe. But back on topic. Yes, at shows where the Tempts share the bill, with the exception of the Four Tops, I get VERY VERY VERY bored. But it's primarily because I don't like the music. You don't know the music! That's why you get bored. Marvin Junior,or Clarence Burke Jr. will keep your eyes open !
