My little girl just came into my office with a big smile on her face and said, "I can't wait! I get to see a concert with one of the *real* Temptations tonight!!" She's been talking to Mike hasn't she.

it does prove that you CAN stomach otis' group and come away without indigestion! Yeah, just as long as you wait 12 hours after your last meal to see them!

You need to try it! The girl's very smart, she's not gonna be fooled! I need to shield her from this forum, since she's only 8 and the sticks and stones would break her bones. But she also shared your opinion of Otis' Temps on the Oprah show..... one comment, "Hm. Pretty cool. But not as good as the Review."  Peach

Kinda hard to judge them on that performance... No band - singing to a recorded shortened arrangement of each song. Let her reserve reviewing them until she sees them live.

Thanks TD.....go to a show before you pass judgement. Hell I could say the review didn't look all that good to me when they sang on the NBA game. But that would not be a fair assesment of the group. Go see a show before you talk!!!!!!! ;D ;D

Well nobody seems to mind picking on the Review for what they saw on PBS, (which I personally thought was a good showing)...still wasn't a live show, and didn't have the full range of their repertoire (nor the best they have to offer).

I figure that if the review is fronted by Dennis, then it's gotta be good. Dennis is one of those happy dancing party cats. I would imagine seeing them is like a party.

Aba, I don't know nothing about no clips. I just know Dennis is the man. And if he's in a group it's gonna be the jump off. It's just gotta be that way.

Yeah, he certainly has the goods. In the live at Harrah's he commanded the stage. He was very passionate. Now, he is a thriple threat. Sings, Dances and entertains. When he did "beauty's only skin deep" I had to put the paint back on my wall after his voice peeled it off. In San Pablo he does the heck out of "A Song For You" and "Try To Remember." He doesn't have the same fire and brimstone in his voice, but one wouldn't notice it by hearing him.

Yes, I can't wait to read Peach's review and thoughts after she's seen the Temps live...there is such a world of difference (between these little clips we have and a full live show)!!! Just as Tdallas wouldn't go see the Review based just on what she saw on PBS, I probably wouldn't have gone see the Temps just based on some clips I've seen (haven't seen Ophrah yet). (but...LOL, I DID first hunt down and go see the Review based on the little clips of (((((David Sea))))) on Street Gold )

Somebody give me the scoop on this David Sea guy. I know he can sing, but I don't have any background on him. Didn't he sing with Dave, Ed, Den?
