Hey every1, Just saw the Tempts perform live and in living color at the N. Charleston, S.C. Performing Arts Center. They were fantastic. First time seeing them in person, they did a great job I had a good time, the show was well worth the $35.00 ticket price. They came out with a bang and left with a bang, giving tributes to our troops fighting in Iraq, singing the Star Spangled Banner. I enjoyed every minute of it, and Otis Williams was in rare form he moved like it was still the 60's and 70's. He was really outstanding, they gave him so many standing ovations. They really looked good with their black seqinned suits, and patent leather shoes they looked so good. I wished the show could have gone on much longer. We really had s good time. Temptations4ever baby!!!

The show really was wonderful. My son and daughter-in-law weren't able to go since she went into labor Sunday evening. I still had a great time though I went alone. I sat next to some really fun people. The crowd was one of the best I've seen at a Tempts concert. What truly surprised me though was how great Bo was at this show after all the rumors swirling. This was the best I've ever heard him. He didn't go overboard on the classics - he sang with great feeling and passion and worked the crowd like a true professional. Ron was in GREAT voice.... but Terry is still struggling with hoarseness. He still sounded great though. wjni56 was right about Otis. I've never seen a crowd go so crazy over him. He was really blown away by the reaction. Charleston LOVES Big Daddy! They did 27 songs in this concert - the 'Memories' section is great. Heard some old songs we haven't heard performed in years... "Ill Be In Trouble", "It's Growing", "Please Return Your Love to Me", "Since I Lost My Baby", "The Girl's Alright With Me", "Don't Look Back", "All I Need", "Beauty's Only Skin Deep", and "I'm Losing You". Surprisingly, all of the people they picked to do the "My Girl" section were pretty good singers and dancers. All of you need to go to a Tempts concert soon. You'll love the new format. It's well worth the price of a ticket.

I promise I don't mean this as a downer post but I TRULY hope that Bo is still there the next time I see them. I would have to have been SO close to hearing him do some of those golden oldies that you mentioned, but miss the opportunity.

Ivory - I don't know what the forecast is for Bo's future, but he sure did sound great on Sunday. I hope you get a chance to get to one of their concerts before his departure, if it true that he's leaving. He really does have great sex appeal - something that G.C. Cameron just doesn't possess. No offense to G.C. ;D

Shout outs to (((((((((((((((((((((Everybody))))))))))))))) in this thread!!!
Hey (((Wjni)))) and (((Tdallas))))! Thanks for your reviews!! I enjoyed reading them so much. There's another one on the SC concert on the concert review page on Ron's site and plus one of the girls' on Barrington's QT did one too.
Tdallas, I'm not surprised that BO gave his all in that concert!! He's Amazing to me!! That's my Guy!!
Hey ((((Ivory)))! I hear ya!! I'm praying that if it's meant to be that BO is leaving, that he'll be doing my "WTRLYM6" AC concerts in June!! I did get to hear him do the medley at my "LIB" Youngstown concert in Feb, but oh I hope to get another chance!! Three times in a row at that. I hope you get your chance. One of the BO_Sistas on his QT was telling us about this move he does on "Don't Look Back" that I'm going to watch for.
Has anyone ordered tickets for the Whispers, Four Tops, and O'Jays' Tempations' concerts!!! I hope the tour is a Success. TTYAL!
