June 8th? I did not see that date on the calendar. The calendar says something about June 7th in Birmingham with the symphony. But nothing about June 8th in Chattanooga.

I had been making plans to go to Birmingham on the 7th and had try to find out about tickets. No luck. Can't find the information in Birmingham.

If I call Chattanooga, will I get a response. Are you sure it's June 8th? If so, this very day I shall make plans to be there.

I always go to Chattanooga in the spring, and for several years have missed the Temptations because they weren't there when I had to be there.

But this year things have come up to make my customary trip unavailable. So I plan to go whenever the Temptations are going to be there.
I just finished sending off an inquiry for someone to check on the availability of tickets. I am sure Ivory knows far better than I do when the Temptations will be in Chattanooga.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to "beat you up." You'd probably just laugh if you saw me.

My relatives in Chattanooga have emailed me back that they could find no reference to a Temptation appearance at Riverbend, a ten-day festival in Chattanooga.

So, what is the exact news.

i looked at ivory's link, and read all the artists listed there, and no temptations appeared.

i can't think of anything better than going to chattanooga--it sounds like a nice festival, sort of like our september street scene festival in san diego.

i certainly would like to hook up with you folks. i'll see if tennessee is a conflict.

Family in Chattanooga emailed me and said they could find no word on The Temptations being there.

I went to the site and could find no word The Temptations would be there.

But I always think Ivory has the inside word so maybe she has heard something that is not official yet.

Yep, that's it Aba. SOME folks are a little some-timey.

Seeing them on the 7th in B'ham might work too. We could make a little weekend of it. Sleep at my aunts house one night, sleep at my parents house the next. And of course an ho-MAGE to the Tempts statue in B'ham would be in order.
