Hello Guys , I just want you to know that I am such a Tempts fan that I celebrated the 3rd of September . Just as any other Holiday. " Papa Was a Rolling Stone " is one of my favorites, led by Dennis .... Dennis , you were in Louisville Ky about 3 weeks ago and I could barely contain myself . As I truly Enjoyed That show . I love the "Classic" Tempts... But you have a very special place in my heart....I will always love you as much as I love David, Eddie,Paul , Otis, and Melvin. I told a friend of mine That if I could I would marry all of you and be true to each one . And in essence that's what I've done cause I am your fan for life.Till the day that I die..........Ms A. God be with you .

Hi Everyone, I was reading the posts and it seems to be a lot of disappoinment that Dennis has not been doing "Naturally" on the shows. Well, I guess Im really the lucky one, ;)because I just attended a show last weekend in Delaware and Dennis did "NATURALLY". It was absolutely beautiful and the audience loved it. It was a real treat. The whole show was great. They performed about a total of three hours (two shows of about an hour and a half each). I was in heaven.

Hi eizzie....glad to have you here!! That show sounds WONDERFUL!!! Please do post a full review...we love hearing about it! Every show I've been to has either been on a shared bill (shorter show) or just them but a shorter show. One of these days, I'll hit it right and get the FULL one. Sounds like you got TWO full shows!! Were they different?

Hello everyone, Just signing on for the first time. I think this board is great. I noticed from the post that there is a lot of disappointment because Dennis has not been dolng "Naturally" on the shows lately. Well, I guess I truely am the lucky one , because I just saw the show in Delaware last weekend and Dennis sang "NATURALLY". It was beautiful and the audience loved it. I really wish he would add it back in the show all the time. The entire evening was great. They did 2 shows for a total of about 3 hours. I was in heaven. Devotion

HELLO EVERYONE, THANKS FOR THE WARM WELCOME. LIKE SOMEONE ON THE BOARD SAID--THE POST FROM DEVOTION SOUNDED JUST LIKE EIZZIE'S--THEY ARE RIGHT--BECAUSE WE ARE ONE IN THE SAME. AFTER I WROTE MY MESSAGE AND TRIED TO POST--I KEPT GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE AS IF IT DIDN'T POST. SO I STARTED OVER FROM THE BEGINNING AND USED MY AKA(DEVOTION)--AND IT STILL SAID IT WAS AN ERROR. I WAS QUITE SURPRISED WHEN I CAME TO THE BOARD TODAY AND NOTICED THAT BOTH MESSAGES GOT THRU. BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER , IM GOING TO TRY TO POST THIS--IF IT GOES THRU OK--I'LL BE BACK TO GIVE A FULL ACCOUNT ON LAST FRIDAY'S SHOW IN DELAWARE.

Hi Eizzie aka Devotion! Welcome to the Board! Yeah, sometimes there is a gremlin about that tries to snatch our posts. Before you post again, check the "most recent posts" thread. That happened to me this morning and when I checked it, my post was there! Go figure. Anyway, wonderful news about the concert you attended. I'm with kalisa, please tell more!

HELLO EVERYONE, WELL IT LOOKS LIKE MY POSTS HAVE GONE THRU--SO I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT THE DELEWARE SHOW. THE SHOW WAS AT A DINNER THEATER WHICH REALLY CREATED A NICE ATMOSPHERE. THE DOORS OPEN ABOUT 6:00 FOR A BUFFET DINER, DRINKS AND DANCING BEFORE THE FIRST SHOW STARTS AT 8:00. A FEW MINUTES BEFORE 8:00 THE LIGHTS START BLINKING AND GET DIM AND YOU COULD FEEL THE EXCITEMENT BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE SHOW IS ABOUT TO START. THE LOUD MUSIC AND THE INTRO STARTS AND IT WAS LIKE YOU JUST COULDN'T WAIT FOR THE REVIEW TO HIT THE STAGE. THE FIRST SHOW THEY WORE ALL WHITE. WHITE SUITS, SHIRT AND SHOES. THEY WERE SHARP. THEY START WITH THEIR USUAL "STANDING ON THE TOP" FOLLOWED BY "HELLO YOUNG LOVERS" , "PSCHEDELIC SHACK" ,"CLOUD NINE" , CAN'T GET NEXT TO YOU", ETC. THEY DID A STRING OF ABOUT 5 OR 6 FAST SONGS AND THE AUDIENCE IS GOING CRAZY BY NOW. THEN SUDDENLY, DENNIS SAYS THEY ARE GOING TO SLOW IT DOWN A BIT WITH A SONG FROM THEIR CD. IM THINKING--THEY ARE GOING TO DO RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA--BUT NO--THE MUSIC FOR "NATURALLY" STARTED. I THOUGHT I WOULD LOSE MY MIND--I STARTED GOING CRAZY AND STARTED HITTING SOME GIRL WHO I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ON THE ARMS WHO WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME AT THE TABLE. LUCKILY--SHE WAS A GOOD SPORT AND DIDN'T GET MAD AT ME--I GUESS SHE COULD SEE THAT I WAS JUST OVERLEY EXCITED. DENNIS DID "NATURALLY " BEAUTIFUL AND PUT SO MUCH FEELING IN IT. THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT--I JUST HOPE FROM THE GOOD RECEPTION THEY RECEIVED, THEY WILL START ADDING IT BACK INTO EVERY SHOW. IF THE SHOW HAD STOPPED RIGHT THEN--I WOULD HAVE BEEN SATISFIED AFTER HEARING "NATURALLY." I HAVE SEEN THE TEMPTS REVIEW FIVE TIMES THIS YEAR AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN THEM DO NATURALLY. I WILL NEVER FORGET IT--I CAN STILL PICTURE THEM SINIGING IT RIGHT NOW. THE SHOW CONTINUED ON, AND ,YES ,MIKE DID EVENTUALLY DO A FANTASTIC JOB ON "RAINY NIGHT IN GEORGIA". DAVID OF COURSE DID "I WISH IT WOULD RAIN" WHICH HE ALWAYS DOES A TERRIFIC JOB ON--BUT THIS TIME--HE REALLY SHOWED OFF. HE SHOWED SO MUCH CHARM AND PERSONALITY THAT HE HAD THE AUDIENCE CAPTIVATED. HE JUMPED OFF THE STAGE AND SAT IN A GIRLS LAP AND SANG IT DIRECTLY TO HER. YOU KNOW SHE WILL NEVER FORGET THAT MOMENT. CHRIS REALLY GOT THE AUDIENCE GOING WITH "GIRL WHY YOU WANT TO MAKE ME BLUE" AND BERNARD WAS GREAT ON "DON'T LOOK BACK". IM TELLING YOU, IT WAS SOME REAL ELECTRICITY AT THAT SHOW--THEY ALL COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER SHOWING THEIR INDIVIDUAL TALENT. DENNIS, OF COURSE, TURNED IT OUT ON "PAPA". THINGS STARTED GETTING EMOTIONAL WHEN DENNIS PAID TRIBUTE TO PAUL, MELVIN, EDDIE AND DAVID AND THEN DENNIS STARTED TALKING ABOUT THE MEMORY OF 9/11 AND THEN BROKE INTO "GOD BLESS AMERICA". THAT WAS SO EMOTIONAL--THE AUDIENCE STARTED WAVING THEIR NAPKINS IN THE AIR, PEOPLE WERE HUGGING EACH OTHER AND A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE REALLY TEARY EYED. IT WAS REALLY MOVING. THEY GOT A STANDING OVATION AFTER THIS ONE--AND RIGHTFULLY SO--DENNIS SANG IT BEAUTIFUL WITH SO MUCH MEANING. IT WAS REALLY A MOVING MOMENT. NO SOONER HAD EVERYONE SAT BACK DOWN--THEY WERE BACK ON THEIR FEET AGAIN WHEN THE SHOW WAS ENDING WITH "MY GIRL".THE FIRST SHOW LASTED ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. THEY TOOK ABOUT A 30 MINUTE BREAK AND THEN THE 2ND SHOW STARTED. THIS TIME THEY WORE A GEORGEOUS COLOR MELLON SUIT WITH MELLON AND OFF WHITE SHOES, A WHITE TEE SHIRT AND A SILVER PIECE OF JEWERLY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SUIT THAT JUST GLITTERED THROUGHOUT THE ROOM., THE BOYS WERE SHARP. THE SECOND SHOW WAS ALMOST THE SAME SONGS AS THE FIRST SHOW, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 2 0R 3 SONGS. THIS TIME DAVID DID "LADY SOUL" AND ON THE 2ND SHOW DENNIS INTRODUCED THE GUYS INDIVIDUALLY AND EACH OF THEM SANG A FEW BARS OF A SONG THAT COMPLIMENTED THEIR PARTICULAR VOICE RANG. BEFORE YOU ASK, YES, CHRIS DID DO "CAN I" AS HIS SONG. IF YOU'RE WONDERING WHY I DIDN'T MENTION THE SONGS THAT DENNIS IS MOST FAMOUS FOR--"A SONG FOR YOU', "MEMORIES" AND "DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER"--IT'S NOT AN OVERSIGHT--HE DIDN'T DO THEM. NOT SURE WHY--COULD HAVE BEEN A TIME ISSUE OR MAY HAVE HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE KNEE HE HAD SURGERY ON LAST YEAR BOTHERING HIM A LITTLE ON THE 2ND SHOW BECAUSE HE DID MENTION THAT. THE SHOW WAS SO PACK ED WITH SO MANY OTHER GREAT SONGS--I'M NOT SURE IF MOST OF THE AUDIENCE EVEN NOTICED THAT HE DIDN'T DO THEM. I NOTICED BECAUSE FIRST OF ALL, IM A TEMP REVIEW ADDICT AND SECONDLY, BECAUSE THEY ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITES. AGAIN, THIS SHOW ALSO LASTED ABOUT 90 MINUTES AND AT THE END, THEY TOOK THE TIME TO COME TO THE EDGE OF THE STAGE AND SHOOK PEOPLE'S HANDS. THEY PAID PARTICULAR ATTENTION AND SPOTLIGHTED A LITTLE GIRL IN A WHEELCHAIR. IM SURE THAT MADE HER NIGHT. THEY EVEN SPENT SOME TIME WITH HER AFTER THE SHOW SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS. THEY ARE REALLY GENUINE, CARING PEOPLE. IT'S NOT SURPRISING THAT THEIR STARDOM IS ON THE RISE. THIS WAS TRUELY A NIGHT TO REMEMBER AND EVERY TIME I PLAY THE CD--I CAN RE-LIVE THE MOMENTS.
