well ladies and gents let's be honest- i DIDN'T GO!!
boo! BUT former all american forward from FRESNO STATE EDDIE ADAMS and his lovely wife LOIS did take my place!!! i gave LO' the assignment of reporting back to me and i prepped her as best as i could so that you would not be disappointed. here's her report-
'well sukkafu we had a blast. it was one of the all time best shows that i've ever been to anywhere. the guys had on shiny gray suits with white shirts and white shoes and they looked fine! yes, otis did dance and the
one named ron introduced otis as the only original temptation still going. the deep voice guy harry sang a
song called old man river from a long time ago, ihaven't heard that one in years! it gave everyone in the audience chills! the good looking one with the beard
sang i wish it would rain and they had some light effects to go with it that was supposed to represent the rain.
we had so much fun singing along with the joneses song, just my imagination, and of course, the people brought up at the end to participate on my girl were funny-but they all could sing- otis made everyone laugh at the end as the last guy shook his bottom real hard-otis said don't let them catch you in the mall doin' that!
they started the show out with the way you do the things you do and it seemed like they didn't stop at all until the last song. it was 90 minutes of pure reminiscing, fun, and pleasure, and we were singing along with all the songs except some new song from their album that they called awesome i think he said.
the only disappointing thing was that only about half the theater was filled. i told my friends and nobody had heard about it! the voices were on and they had all the moves going. i wish you could have been there sukkafu, you missed a terrific show. they didn't do can't get next to you, but they did ain't too proud to beg and ball of confusion and papa was a rolling stone, get ready and treat her like a lady. the horn section was terrific and they even got up to sing my girl! thanks for the tix sukkafu and i am happy to give your message board a review'.
well folks there you have it. another great show - just like otis said in the mini series- even half a house deserves a great show --- AND THEY GOT IT! ;D
