Can someone explain to me how to add icons? Not icons on the site icons you get from other web sites. I would really appreciate the info.

I mean like how you have a picture next to your name by you message. I see a lot of people have pictures that they got off the internet and pasted them as part of their icon. I was wondewring how I could have a picture as my icon?

I was wondewring how I could have a picture as my icon? OK, you mean our Avatars. You have two choices here... 1) Go to your "Profile" (way up on top there under the board logo) and scroll down until you come to "Personalized Picture". Ivory has a wide choice of avatar pictures you can choose from on that list. 2) or you can use your own picture, of yourself or any other thing you've found on the net (NOT animated, please ). To do this, you must upload your picture to your own storage space (a lot of us use Sharemation.com, its free for up to 5 MB) and then check the box that says "I have my own pic", and put in the URL to your storage space & picture in the text box next to it. With Sharemation, you must be sure you have "shared" your pictures, otherwise we won't be able to see the avatar. I don't know about other storage facilities. If you choose option 2, it is best NOT to link to the actual website picture, but to save it to your own computer and then upload it to your own storage. Something about bandwidth and & etc. that I'm not sure of but it may cause a problem for the owner of the website/picture you like.
