As most of you know, this is NOT a free board, the company that runs it requires us to pay $7 per 50,000 page views in order to keep the board ad-free. Some of you may have seen the VERY annoying pop-ups over the past day or so. I've paid the fee to get us 50,000 more ad-free page views, but we are typically paying $14 a month to keep it that way. A couple of wonderful posters have paid in the past, and I appreciate that, but I'd really be happy to see more people pitching in, since so many of you are taking advantage of what I think we all agree is a wonderful board.
So, here's the deal. If you donate a credit (click on the link at the bottom of the page to do so, it's done through Paypal) you may dedicate a Tempts' song lyric or have one of your favorite Tempts photos posted at the top of the board. If you DO donate, email me or IM me and let me know, and we'll work out the details.

Ok, we've used up our second set of free page views for the month. If I buy some more we'll just have to do it again on Sunday, so guess what? I'm not gonna. We're gonna be in pop-up land for a couple of days. Hopefully that will annoy everyone enough and we'll get some more people helping out on the ad-free thing. We've got 300 members, no reason why only 5 people should be the ones helping out So there!!! :cursing:  |

I noticed those pop-ups and I was about ready to kick someone's butt...BUT....tell me Ivory, it's $6.99 right? And how much does that cover? (How long?) I don't get paid til Monday, and I only get paid once a month so this is my brokest time  , but I'd be willing to help out since I use this board, too. Let me know what I have to do. Wait a minute, I just read your first post.  6.99 for 50,000 page views, gotcha. So what do I have to do? Peach |

Anyone who wants to contribute can by going to the bottom of the page and clicking the "Make a Donation" button. That will take you directly to Paypal where you can send the money off. If you don't already have a Paypal account you'll need to register. For those of you not familiar with it, it's the number 1 way to transfer money on the Internet. Us hard-core eBay users have been using it for years, it's completely safe. Also, the money goes straight to the company that hosts these message boards. It never touches my hands. It's a new month, and I'll be more than happy to apply a credit ................. just as soon as someone donates one. |
