Goooood question Zlady....which also leads to the other...Why do people at side streets when seeing you coming still pull out in front of you only to drive VERRRRY slow?

How come on the Golden Girls, Sophia ALWAYS carries the same wicker purse? Even when she's in her nightclothes at 2 in the morning? And how come on Trading Spaces, on the second day, both Paige and the designers have on the same clothes?

temptsfat 14,
Not sure whether you are male or female, but check the fingers on your hand.
For females the forefinger is slightly longer than the third finger (the one next to the little finger).
For males the forefinger is shorter than the third finger.
Of course, there are a few people whose genes seem to be a bit mixed up.
I don't know whether this also applies to toes. But it's a scientific fact for most males and most females. I have no idea why, and it might be a good idea to check out other members of the animal kingdom.

Dear Lynnie,
And so it is with everyone. I am talking about the differences in the forefinger and third finger for the sexes. It is such a curious little thing because no one has ever said why it should be different for the two sexes.

Thank you, Aba. I used the sad face because she said "mixed up." The way it seemed to be used in that context made me think "strange."

Thank you, Aba. I used the sad face because she said "mixed up." The way it seemed to be used in that context made me think "strange." I can't have my investigative attorney with a sad face. I need your confidence at an all time high. Hell they got Kobe.....they could get me too in a heartbeat and you need to be ready! ;D

Frankly there are some males who have female type forefingers, and some females who have male type females. I forget the percentages, but something like it runs true in 90 percent of the cases, but there's always that 10 percent.
It means absolutely nothing but watch male faces get depressed. It doesn't seem to worry females as much as males.
And here's another question: What's the first thought that comes to your mind if I say "tender"?
If you're male, your first thought is most likely to be "meat." If you're female, it's more likely to be "loving, kind"-- something of that nature.
And then another example of sexual preference is the language you use. Ah, yes, there is a sex dialect. When was the last time you heard a man say to another man, "That's a lovely shirt you have on"?
