I have a random question, but I figured in addition to asking it, I'd create a thread for other folks to ask random questions.
1. What did Laura Nyro mean when she asked the world "can you surry?" In the song "Stoned Soul Picnic?"

Nish, good question, "SURRY", is that in the dictionary? Closest thing I see from webster is "surrey", "a horse drawn four wheeled carriage with two seats" My random question is: Mojo 94.9 welcomes the Temptations with Otis Williams live in concert to the Safari Pavilion at the Cincinnati Zoo on Saturday, July 5 at 7:30 p.m.! Order your tickets now through Ticketmaster.com, or call (513) 281-4700. All seats are general admission, and the event takes place rain or shine. So reserve your tickets now, and join Mojo 94.9 for an all time jammin' night with the Temptations and Otis Williams! Why is it NOW, OTIS WILLIAMS and the Temptations versus The Temptations Is it because he's the last of the C5 who's name most tempt fans recognize? It could NEVER be DAVID RUFFIN and the Temptations ...or any other Tempt lead for that matter.

What's on your MJ CD? I made one a while back, but it was half him and half Jackson Five.

Ok, my random question is, if plumers make so much money, why doesn't it look like it and why don't people aspire to be plumers? Plumbers... plum...

On the song "Sexy Mama" by the Moments, who is the cat talking to when he says (in quite a belligerent or testy tone) "Say what? Say what?" then he says "oh, okay." I guess he's talking to "Sexy Mama" but what did she say to make him ask "Say What?" One of those things that puzzle me.

Maybe "Sexy Mama" isn't quite ready to "open the love gates to her heaven"...just a thought Nish...

Classic, this is a STRONG possibility. I never thought of it from this angle. I'm really gonna stay out of Ivory's SKOL. This is a headache.

Yeah, the noises constitute clear evidence to the contrary, but I think Classic is onto something here.
Since I listened to the Moments all last nite, maybe Classic knows which airport the chick is flying out of on the song "Gotta Find A Way"... I'm guessing L.A. Obviously, the holiday weekend brings with it too much time for me to wonder about songs.
