I just thought of a few more interesting things about me: 1. I have the ability to hear dog whistles. 2. I usually yawn with my mouth closed. 3. Because of an operation when I was two weeks old, I have unusually good hearing. I can hear a sewing needle hit a carpet floor. 4. I can "flap" my nostrils(sp?) without taking in any air. 5. I can make my shoulder blades touch each other. Wow...that's all I can say Jay....wow  And All5....I like your #1...sounds like my kind of party!  |

1. My mother used to write for "Mister Rogers" and "The Electric Company". 2. I sing high tenor. What a great group for me to be into, huh?.. Years ago, I used to sing with a group but, because I was getting colds too often, I had to bow out. Since I'm an audio engineer, I can use my voice to "fix" background parts - which I have to do from time to time. Of course, I don't take credit 'cause it isn't about that.. 3. I still listen to LPs more than I do their CD counterparts. If I can find a current album in the LP format, I buy it and forget about the CD......unless the album is also available as a DVD-Audio disc... Gosh I feel so self-absorbed.. Ed Don't forget that you scale mount rushmore and can leap tall building in a single bound. |

Quiet, Hype. Some things just shouldn't be shared. I was sensitive to the fact that you didn't want people knowing that you went by the name "Andre Harrell" and headed up Motown for an incredibly unsuccessful two-year reign. Please also offer me the same....

lemme see.......a few interestin' things about me... 1. When I was 7, I fell out of a moving car (it wasn't goin' that fast)..... downtown...in front of EVERYBODY........ luckily though, I was not hurt! 2. And, like IRLM,...... I also suffer from the "ask" impairment!...it always comes out as "AXE"....I guess it's a Mississippi thang...lol :laughing 3. I was a preemie .....so I didn't walk until I was almost 3yrs old........and get this.....didn't talk ( i could...but just didn't... ) until I was 4!!!!....I guess I was shy. lol.....now ya can't shut me up... :laughing 4. I was a "mama's baby".....I followed my mama EVERYWHERE....LOL....she couldn't even go to the bathroom w/o me being right behind her!!! |

Well. I'm just getting to this thread...
Let's see..
1. at 6 I was hit in the head while standing behind my brother, with a baseball bat. 5 stitches in the forehead, and that same brother used to chase me around the block with mason jar that had bees in it or worms.
2. at 16, I used to sit on a friends shoulders.. and then she would get on her bike and ride.. we had all the parents scared for us, then in July of that summer I was at the park.. sitting on my friends shoulders.. a guy we knew came up and goosed her, I fell off.. she stepped on my knee and have had 5 surgeries on that knee since than.
3. At 18. 1976. I went to visit my father in Montana, and I was the "Great Falls Speedway Queen" a few times, had to kiss all those old men after they won, but I did get to ride around the track in the cars!
4. I had MANY different types of jobs.. pumping gas, factory, cleaning lady, worked at a strip club off and on, helped a friend of mine get his own import/export business going, waitressed.. ( I waited on Peter Paul and Mary once, Melisa Manchester once and Black Oak Arkansaw once, messed up one of their orders at Big Boy's in Milwaukee.. night shift), I used to make glasses at Milw. Optical Ctr. One of the weirdest jobs I had.. well wasnt an actual Job.. just for some guy friends, was sewing little tassels on their little speedos for their routines, now that was funny! ended up in Ca. due to the first marriage, I only had one job there.. working for a contact lens Mfg. company..in Huntington Beach, I saw an order come thru for Peter Framton, and now, the most exciting part of my job hee in Seattle, that really does fulfill me is the look on family members faces when they get to see their son/daughter, father..etc on a Video Teleconference from overseas, that I have arranged, I make sure there are plenty of kleenex around but Im the first to grab a tissue!!
7. I cant whistle.. well I can.. but I blow in.. not out. and I still cant swim either.. I can float for about 5 secs. but thats all.
Oh.. and I can carry on a LITE conversation in Arabic (Palistinian dialect.. which ever one that is, there are so many different dialects over there) just the basics.. pleasantries..etc OH! and also how to yell at kids in Arabic, and how to swear/curse at grown men in Arabic that shocks them,and just takes their breath away, thanks to some friends of mine from High School in the old neighborhood.
