we don't get that out here as far as i know. i like good clean humor. yesterday we were riding in the car and happened to be listening to a preacher bashing somebody else's church for a long time. is that the way to win new converts-by putting others down? even if he were right which he wasn't because he used several scriptures way out of context, i wouldn't want to be a part of a ministry of intolerance and disrespect. you couldn't feel the Holy Spirit when he spoke. you could only feel negativity.

What do you consider clean?
I consider Rickey Smiley to be one of the few comedians I can listen to with my mother, and if she was into a lot of comedy, my grandmother.

I know he has to be the only person in the room when he is making these crank calls because if I was there I would be laughing so hard the person who he's calling would have to know it is a joke.

kim , we have a guy in so. cal. on l.a. talk radio called phil henry. he not only is the host, but he does half the guests and caller voices too! then when real callers call in, they're so naive that they think when phil pretends to be a guest saying something crazy, they believe it!

That is why caller id is so important. LOL!!! ;D Just in case this guy decides to start doing crank calls too.

Half the time he can't get through the calls without laughing, lol. ;D See I'm a giggle box...I thought once I got older I would get out of the habit of giggling all the time but I guess it is just a part of my personality. I'm going to see if I can get professional help for my chronic giggling.

I've got that same problem. I was giggling going out to get the mail today. I was laughing about thinking, "What am I laughing at?"

humor and laughter help us through trials and stress and give us endorphins and keep us bouncy and light.
''a merry heart doeth good like a medicine'' proverbs 17:22
prov. 15:13,15 also mention making merry.

Laughter is good for the heart and soul. If we'd all forget about "acting silly" and how we are supposed to "act our age" all the time, we'd probably have more fun!

And Steve said on Family Matters that you burn .3 number-number calories everytime you laugh. Then Carl said, maybe I should laugh more often.
