Ok then, I say #1 is the Temptations! That's cool how you can go in and add the answers. I hope this doesn't come across as vain because I can't take credit for any feature of this board, I'm not doing it, BUT, I just LOVE this board. Just wish it had a spell checker.

Right you are, Jonel and sukkafu...way to go!! Sorry Ivory, the Tempts don't qualify as a duo...try again! I love this board setup too...and yes, the ability to modify the opening note makes it ideal for little games such as this~ . But the people who hang here are what make it REALLY outstanding!!

good try, Jonel...and that would have been my guess (with the departure of Diana Ross). But my source says 1977, and this is technically correct.

That I couldn't tell you.
He does say that "I wish he didn't trust me so much" is NOT autobiographical. (best of my recollection the wedding took place roughly 2 mos. after the funeral, at which Bobby wore one of Sam's suits. Many, including Bobby, credit the relationship with the downslide of Bobby's career, though he swears nothing started until after Sam's death)

stars sure seem to find a way to blunder their way to a downer of their careers. bobby was a great singer and a friend of the tempts but how tacky can you be? then again, wasn't sam playin' around when he was shot in the motel in l.a.?
