this is a TOUGHIE!! I can't find where "Try a little Tenderness" was a bigger hit for the Temptations or any of them as solo artists than for Aretha...and I am missing the era where Otis (the Redding one :-P) or Percy were Tempts lead singers...<<<sigh>>>. Only one I can picture doing justice to the song (other than those already guessed) is Ali Ollie Woodson...maybe?

Uh... what about Eddie Kendricks? (ha ha, just kidding Sukka.) Did I ever show you a photo of my dream house? I'm serious, ask Fair Lady Soul!!! (That's on Signal Mountain Jonel, have you ever seen it?)

No. Not Ali-Ollie. Not Eddie.
Ivory, I don't recognize Signal Mountain because I always stayed on that road from Dayton through Soddy-Daisy to Chattanooga. I don't think that pod dwelling is visible from the road, is it?

Yep Sukka, how'd you know? Excuse me while I have a private conversation with Jonel........ No, that house is on Signal Mountain Blvd which is the straighter of the two roads that get you on top of the mountain, the other being the infamous "W" road. Signal Mtn. is of course directly West of Dayton Blvd. The road you were taking from Dayton took you right past my house and right past the Pizza Hut where Katbyrd used to work. Small world huh? Ok, getting us back on topic, I'm gonna cheat...... The answer to Jonel's question is either, Al, Otis, Melvin, Eddie, Paul, David, Dennis, Ricky, Damon, Richard, Glen Louis, Ron, Ali, Theo, Ray, Terry, Harry or Bo. There! ;D

I am going to have to 'fess up. I misread the quote. So all you guys were correct because it WASN'T a Temptation that said it after all. It was Otis REDDING not Otis WILLIAMS. I should be cute and say "I was just checking to see if y'all knew the Temps that well...". But I won't lie, I just made a boo boo.

".....the greatest thing you can do is sit and listen to a woman talk. Every once in awhile, one of them will say something, and I say to myself, 'I'll use that,' and I go home and write it down."

Jonel, you know I love (((((you))))) and all and I hate to laugh at you but ........... HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA!!!! You know Otis WILLIAMS didn't have no solo hits!!!! Ha ha. ..... sorry. But we REALLY appreciate the hard work you're doing with this game. I know it takes a LOT of work to put together and it's A LOT of fun!!! Everyone give it up for Jonel!!!!! Now the quote about listening to women talk, that's not Otis Redding, that's not Otis Spukenmire, that's not ANY OTHER Otis in this world but Otis Williams! I KNOW that quote!!!
