From the Otis Williams Website,
TEMPTATIONS RELEASING NEW CD IN AUGUST, 2007.
The CD title isn't known yet but we are putting the finishing touches on an eclectic group of songs we fell in love with the first time we heard them. Among them Sting's "If You Love Someone Set Them Free" and the Everly Brothers' "Let It Be Me." As we crafted these songs in our unique Temptations way, I grew even fonder of their beautiful melodies and powerful lyrics. Stay tuned here, you will be the first to know this CD's release date

I hope it's better than the last one. I know that's right. Actually, I hope it's an improvement over the last two. Ed

You, see, temptitious, i didn't ming legacy entirely. After a few listens some of the songs sort of stuck with me. But i see from where you are coming. It didn't seem very temptation like. But i'm not sure it was a total throw-away.

You, see, temptitious, i didn't ming legacy entirely. After a few listens some of the songs sort of stuck with me. But i see from where you are coming. It didn't seem very temptation like. But i'm not sure it was a total throw-away. To me, "Legacy" sounded like a band that didn't know who it was anymore. The only time they sounded like themselves was on "You Are Necessary...". Even then, though, the song is so awkwardly written and produced that it doesn't quite work (the acapella intro, though, is awesome). Otherwise, they come off as a very competent R&B vocal group. They move through various styles but none of them really stuck. Another thing I didn't love is that Terry did most of the backgrounds. There wasn't much of anyone else on it. Terry is a very good singer - don't get me wrong. However, this was supposed to be a Temptations album, not a Terry Weeks album. I would have preferred more of a group sound. "Something Special" was decent and "Stay Together" was alright but those were accidents. The rest of it I could have done without. Ed
