(aug 13,2002) Every time you turn around theres some performer engaged in a dispute with some show promoter. This time around the Temptations [Review] are the performers and Delory Carrol is the promoter. Carrol is the promoter of the Summer Soul Slam series held in Jamaica.
According to our man in Jamaica,Kevin Jackson, the Temptations [Review] had made a few changes in the travel plans, with out the promoters permission or knowledge, which had run up to over $3,000,and wanted the promoter to pay for it at the show. The face-off reportedly caused a 3 hour delay. During the wait,members fo the group, the promoter and production personnel battled it out backstage.
A source who witnessed the whole episode said, It was very embarrassing. Couldnt these guys settle this after the show ?
