Rolling Stone Magazine has released its "ROLLING STONE 500", a celebration of the greatest rock & roll songs of all time, chosen by a five-star jury of singers, musicians, producers, industry figures, critics and, of course, songwriters. The 172 voters, were asked to select songs from the rock & roll era. They nominated 2,103 songs in virtually every pop-music genre of the past half-century and beyond. The results were tabulated according to a weighted point system. Of the 500 songs that made the cut The Temptations placed three on the list.... Number 88 - My Girl Number 168 - Papa Was A Rolling Stone Number 389 - Just My Imagination For a complete listing of the Rolling Stone 500 and more information please visit online at rollingstone.com/500songs

Seems somewhat suspicious that the first two in this list (published in a Rolling Stone Magazine) include the words "Rolling Stone"...
1. Like a Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan
2. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones

Yep, those are the three songs that Otis says will never be taken out of the live show. They are definately songs that people think of when the Temptations are mentioned.
