The Omni Broadcasting Network has put up a Webpage for the upcoming special "The Four Tops: From The Heart" 50th Anniversary Concert that in addition to the Four Tops features Dennis Edwards & The Temptations Review, Aretha Franklin, Ashford & Simpson, Mary Wilson and Paul Rodgers, Plus a special appearance of Legendary Four Tops Lead Singer Levi Stubbs. The website features photos from the concert and a video of the Four Tops performing "Always and Forever" led by current Tops lead singer and former Temptations member Theo Peoples. "The Temptations featuring Dennis Edwards"?....oh please! i don't see any Temptations there except for a former one.....why couldn't they just get the real Tempts?

The advertisement says The Temptations, featuring Dennis Edwards. I am sure that it was a typographical error. However it looks as if it would be great viewing.

This looks to be a just WONDERFUL show!! (wish we had more Review on the clips, though :inlove )...did I miss seeing a projected air-date? This is a MUST SEE!!!

HERE'S SOME UPDATED INFORMATION ON THE UPCOMING FOUR TOPS 50TH SPECIAL INCLUDING NEWS ON A DVD AND CD RELEASE OF THE EVENT! Eclectic Entertainment Inks Initial Deal for Four Tops TV Special Eclectic Entertainment, a wholly owned subsidiary of OBN Holdings, Inc., announces the initial sale for its first television special. "We are confident that the $500,000 generated from this initial sale is just the beginning of the total revenue that will be generated by the Four Tops' special," stated Larry Taylor, OBN Holdings CFO. "We are currently making arrangements with companies to represent Eclectic in selling the special in markets overseas. We are also in the process of completing the DVD and CD which is scheduled for release in early 2005." About the Television Special The television special, entitled "From the Heart: The Four Tops 50th Anniversary and Celebration," was produced July 2004 in Detroit, Michigan. The program features performances by Aretha Franklin; Ashford and Simpson; Paul Rodgers (formerly of Bad Company); The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards and Mary Wilson (formerly of the Supremes). Additionally, a very special moment occurred when Levi Stubbs, former Four Tops lead singer, sang a duet with Aretha Franklin. Stubbs, appearing on stage in a wheelchair, had not performed since experiencing a debilitating stroke and heart attack during 2000. The special is scheduled to begin airing in early 2005.
