It's very good. I've been looking for this and found a copy on vinyl I just wish they would release "Live At London's Talk Of The Town. Which I think is better. They we're on fire for that live performance.

I have LIVE AT LONDON"S TALK OF THE TOWN on vinyl.
There are two unfortunate things about it:
1. It is not a DVD or video.
2. Unless I have an old record player in the attic, I think I have thrown away all my record players and must find someone who can convert it to a CD.
The good thing is the cover picture.

You threw away your turntables?? What did you do that for? I'd sooner toss out my CD players before I'd do that.... Ed

For years I have been promising everyone to clean up and organize my office. And, to some degree, I have. Everyone agrees that they see me take bag after bag of stuff out to the trash. And I mean BIG bags. But when they look in the office, it is still the same old mess. The past few weeks I have taken out at least 10 bags.
Part of this clean up consists of getting rid of things I think I will never use again. Such as an LP on the History of the English language consisting of someone reading literature in Old English, Middle English, Modern English. Yes, Beowulf, Chaucer, etc. Why? Because no one has a turntable anymore. And if they do, the needles are worn, etc.
But the minute I get rid of anything, someone asks me to teach that subject, or I find another need to use it. Still I persist. I have clothes that I haven't worn in ---- years that I need to throw out. With this attitude I got rid of turntables. ANd the one person I know who has a turntable probably has a scratchy needle on it.
I have now located a film of Coles and Atkins dancing. But if it's 16mm or 32mm, I am in trouble. I guess I need to find someone with the equipment to turn these into DVD's or VHS videos.
I like the video of 'The Lonely Hearts Club" with David and Eddie. I wonder if one can find a good copy of it. The sound is wonderful on my computer, but the picture is really fuzzy. But with the recent release of several Temptations' videos, I have high hopes I can find the video of "The Lonely Hearts Club" too.
BTW, My "Temptations in Japan" arrived, and I like it very much. I liked Richard's singing on the album. I was surprised that Damon's singing of "This Morning" was not as enticing as the record version. It just lacked a certain poignant quality the recording has. I also have "The Supremes in Japan" and the"Jackson Five in Japan" is on its little way. It's really interesting hearing live performances. The Supremes liner notes say this is the only album of Mary Wilson, Jean Terrell and Lynda Laurence as Supremes. Interestingly, Cholly Atkins wrote that he thought that group had the best voices of all the combinations of Supremes. However, I found myself wishing Diana was there.

So then how do you manage to listen to all the Tempts albums that have never been made available on CD? I mean, that's the only reason I have a turntable...LOL!! To be honest, I don't know anyone in my life who doesn't still have a working turntable. Again, there are too many albums that haven't made it to the CD format that rabid music listeners like myself absolutely need one... Ed
