Let’s mark the day Otis finally gave Mr. Woodson credit for something Ali never seems to get much respect from Temps fans, but he’s always the one out there giving of his free time..for no pay. Who was at Levi’s tribute show in Detroit, performing for hours…ALI Who spent days down at ground zero with the Red Cross volunteers….Ali Who does Richard say called him almost every day during his very serious illness….Ali I think it’s time we all find an Ali show, so we can give him a group (((HUG))) :inlove

My condolences for having heard that version, Mike. That man couldn't hold a note if it had a handle! I feel bad for the mastering engineer who had to sit through his whole album. LOL! Ed

I didn't know that he cut a whole album? Yeah, he did. It was called "I Am The Greatest" It's credited to Cassius Clay and it was released in 1963. It's mostly made up of his over-the-top poetry, some set to music. It's also got two songs - "Stand By Me" and a song Sam Cooke wrote for him, "The Gang's All Here". His way with words was fantastic so his diatribes are quite funny and the two songs in question are the most unintentionally funny tracks I think I've ever heard. Here's the cover: The album has been reissued on CD and, if you care, you can get it here: Cassius Clay - I Am The GreatestEd
