Just got the video tonight (took me long enough...LOL!). The best thing about it is "Standing On The Top". I commented on it elsewhere but it's just so cool!!
I also like "I'm Here". It has the best "look". Terry just tore into that song! The video compliments the song very nicely.

I didn't buy my dvd on the third, I was thinking oh I have those videos, but reading all the posts about it, I almost went out and bought the the next day, but I waited until Friday. Oh I tell ya looking at it on dvd with s-video, it was like looking at the videos for the first time!! It was so clear!! I was screaming on "Stay" looking at (((Barrington)))! LOL!! He's my guy!! LOL!! I have to check out the hair on "Seeing Now" I miss that. I hope they put out a volumne two!! TTYAL! Melody Bo!OMG  He is so SEXY! I find myself talking to the TV screen. When he is singing Stay on the part when he says "I'll make sweet, sweet love like you never felt before......" I like I know you can! ;D I love to watch him dance on I'm Here. and Terry  and Harry too they all were SEXY...........  |

I had to watch that particular video a few times...I tend to get a little when Dennis is looking right into the camera.... I was looking at the portly guy at the table with the girl, thinking the guy's back looked familiar. I was NOT expecting Rerun!  But I think my favorite overall is "Standing on the Top"--Dennis looks really good in that one, and it is really nice to see the fellas all together. Yep Rerun! :laughing |

Isn't is funny on "I Wonder Who She Is Seeing Now" when (((Rerun))) asked (((Billie Dee))) "Don't I know you, and then Billie rolled his eyes!!? LOL!!
One of my co-workers said that she brought the dvd. I can't wait to hear her opinion about it!! TTYAL!

I made HUGE Mistake this morning!!! Before leaving for work I watched the new DVD this morning.. and man.. here I am at work.. and I cant concentrate on a THING.. just that dvd, I just keep thinking how they sing.. and look and move an sound.. oh man.. someone slap me back into reality!!! I have a job to do!

ok.., I think i found my favorite off the dvd "I'm Here"
"..you gave your all and a few cents more, he turned his back and is walking out the door (with a little help from my foot!! "..but thats all right.. its allright, let him go, I'm here to show you love like you never had before.. just let me lay with you... yep.. yep.. thats a good video! Terry is very good in this one *s*
and.. since my daughter is hanging at a friends house for a few days.. Im taking today off work.. and its gonna be a nice relaxing Tempts day.. with no kid or grandson around so now.. I can concetrate on the the video.. the movie.. the harrahs, the street gold.. and maybe even read!

Last night when I had the new DVD Going.. My grandson who just turned 3.. started saying "Grammy's Sing tay shuns".he has a little problem with his T's. it was so cute... yep.. I think im doing good helping to raise him right.. *S* next I think I'll teach him.. the knee up ,clap.. or maybe the walk.. he cant snap his fingers yet.. hehehe my grandson can now say "Temptations" instead of sing tayshuns.. Now I got something to work with! next is the "walk".. gotta get him prepped for 20 yrs from now.. to be the next Tempt! |

Your post made me think about how my Love for the Temptations started as a little girl and my (((Mama)) buying their 45s and then in my late 30s to get so into them, because of the miniseries, and to actually meet the last suriving member of the Classic Five is so unbelievble.!! I mean to be a part of the fan club and met him where he knows whom I am, cause I've been to so many concerts. It's unbelieviable!! Because ((((Barrington)))) is not longer with the group, I may not be as Excited about the concerts, but I'll always Love the Temptations, and will always be a fan!!! I really believe in "Temptations Forever"!!! TTYAL!

I really believe in "Temptations Forever"!!! TTYAL! The magic that was the C5 and the HOF6 Temptations was a once in a life time experience that thank God we can see from time to time through video. The real magic was in being there for the live performances. Thank God that there are various incarnations of the Tempts with very talented members to carry on that magic for those who were not blessed to have seen the C5, or HOF6 perform. Whether they be Otis', Dennis', Richards, Glenn's or Ali's groups they all have that magic that brings joy to Temptations fans worldwide. I think that magic will continue for decades to come. |
