After a long absence, the board's favorite member makes a long overdue comback. ;D So, what do you guys think of the album "Special"? I was lucky enough to find a near perfect condition CD of it on e-bay. I think it's very good. I was pleasently surprised, after somewhat of a let down with "Milestone"(more on that in another thread...). There are a number of good(some great) songs on this disc. In fact, the only low point in my opinion is "She's Better Than Money". The opening track, "Friends" is probably in the top five all time greatest Richard leads. I love the song. "Special" is another great song. I'm having a very hard time deciding whether I like "One Step at A Time", or "Soul To Soul" better. ;D All things considered(a slightly "modern" sound takes a little away from the disc), I'd give this three and a half out of four stars.

See, I like Milestone better than Special. In a way it has sentimental value because "Soul to Soul" was the only Tempts "hit" I've ever liked WHEN it was a hit, but the other album, not so much. Definately DO NOT LIKE "One Step at a Time" it's cornball.
Is "Loveline" on that one? LOVE it! :inlove
