I just got this about a month ago and it is my favorite CD right now. I would give anything to have been there on this night. There seems to have been a spark about David that no matter what song he sang on when he took the mic it seemed to raise the energy level of the room. On BOSD especially it was like he was able to manipulate (in a good way) the crowd. Also, David thanked the audience how many times? It struck me how polite he seemed to be.
Not a bad track on the album. On DLB the part from 4:04 - 5:00 is my favorite. And when Paul says..."and I wanna thank you right now" I just want to say....Mr. Williams let me thank YOU! This album is magical.

Just listen at the crowd........He really works it when he says my favorite line.. " I know you've been hurt by some one else...I can tell by the way you carry yourself..but now you listen...I've been hurt baby ..yes I have..that's way I know exactly what to do..." OMG!!!....I mean...I could have screamed right along with the audience on the song!!!

Hi Tess, I wasn't too pleased at how David burst onto Paul's 'I Want A Love I Can See' with "ah baby yeah- yeah, yeah, yeah, ...: and he goes on to say what he wants instead of what Paul wants. On 'Don't Look Back' David chimes in towards the end with "hey-hey-hey baby love aw yeah...". Check David out on 'That's Life' on the Mellow Mood album too, he echoes Paul with "that's li-i-i-f-e ". But as you said , it's an excellent album. I enjoy how they went from 'What Now My Love' and segued into 'Yesterday'

Curet, Are those all ad libs? I thought that they were scripted or planned. On DLB I agree that David sounded out of place jumping in there. On IWALICS though he comes in right after Melvin does his thing and then goes on to say ..I know he wants a love that really makes him melt (referring to Paul?). You hear Paul singing his part in the background during this so I take it David was supposed to jump in there. I wonder what the actions on stage were during this...did DR point to himself and then to Paul...who knows? :banghead I wish I had been there! If David did jump in the other guys songs it makes you wonder if, like in the movie LOL, he just may have been chased off stage with a "I'm gonna whoop your a$$!" sometimes?

And the audience was sure having a good time along with him!
Anna it's "Temptations Live!" it's the one shown on the cover of Genna's book. I got my CD off of eBay.

Okay, I've been already looking it up ... the cheapest one is "no remaster." Would a remastered version be the better choice. I am really ignorant when it comes to such things ...

I thought that the audience was pretty rowdy for the show. Listen to Eddie start Ol' Man River. The audience is so lound, it almost drowns him out. ;D
