Yet another example of Mike not only failing to comprehend what I wrote ......... but also putting words in my post that aren't even there.

While I have never looked at Otis and Melvin as lead singers, Melvin on the other hand enjoyed leading while Otis looked as if he would rather be doing something else than out front.. I used to watch Melvin get ready to do Old Man River and he knew he was gonna kill em' when he stepped up to the mike. The five of them were so talented that I just don't think we'll ever see five men quite like that in one group again. And if you really listen to some of his leads like I COULD NEVER STOP LOVING YOU OR I TRULY TRULY BELIEVE, you will find he could sing lead very well IMO. Yea, Otis also gave me that same impression ;D But when Melvin sang "Old Man River" OMG I love that deeeeeeeep voice ;D I don't think there will be another group like the C5 or HOF6. They were one of a kind.

Ivory! I was praising Otis for trying to make the "group" meeting these standards. I was not talking about Otis himself. And I was not kidding either.

How can he only TRY to reach that goal? As a member of the classic five, he is one-fifth of the very definition of what it means to be a Tempt. Idn't no "trying" to it. He is. Could it be another example of you not understanding what YOU wrote? This speaks for itself. Nothing wrong with my understanding..I didn't edit your post, did I? Maybe if you stop IGNORING me and explain what you mean, since you say I don't have good understanding skills ,shed some light for us.Don't run away. Don't ignore, people are noticing! ;D
