nope. that makes too much sense  anywho.....I posted this in the 'Paul Get Together " thread......but decided to post it here too...... Email reply from the MAA when asked about the Paul Convention............. Hello Michelle,
We are still working out the details with the Williams family. As of right now, we don't know if the event will happen at the first place we originally expected. But, we will keep you updated on developments.

Well, I think the obvious thing to do would be to contact the Motown Alumni Association. damn i woulda neva thought of that... .. . seriously though of course that is obvious.. but i didn't want to, thinking they wouldn't get back to me... but i see they got back to PG (  cuz) ... guess i shouldn't have assumed anything..  |

If they(Joe Williams & family) need any help planning it, I'll be more than happy, satisfied, gratified, content, pleasured, (thats all the words i can think of right now), to help them with the planning. How bout it P.Girl, you willing to help too?? Maliya--can u help too?? Any other Paul fans, or Tempts fans, willing to help out PW's family plan his MUCH overdue convention?? Is the whole sha-bang-a-bang still on?? anymore updates or anything?? |

I'm getting the same impression. The only time I've read/seen this is off of this web site. If they asked for help, I'm SURE they'd be OVERWHELMED with offers to help. As far as ideas::: We'd start off with a moment of silence in rememberance of Paul, But it won't be total silence, cuz in the background will be Paul singing The Lord's Prayer. We'll play lots of Paul's songs and tempts songs, and Pauls fave songs, tempt related AND non tempt related. We will have ALL of Paul's fave foods there. have a Paul look-a-like contest, with singing. Watch video clips of Paul. Have his fam. talk about what it was like at home with Paul. Try to track down Kel Osbourne, if still alive, and have him talk about Paul singing in the early dayz. Have Motown release any previously unreleased songs by Paul. ENJOY THE ATMOSPHERE OF PAUL AND THE COMPANY OF PAUL'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND FANS!!! WE WILL KNOW HE AND EDDIE WILL BE LOOKING DOWN FROM UP ABOVE WITH A SMILING FACE!!!!! YEAAAAAA PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats just a few ideas off the top of my head. what do ya think?? |
