i was alive and watched the temptations the supremes marvin gaye the miracles and james brown on ed sullivan and hullabaloo and shindig Now if you were Mikey and were saying that you saw them live at the Apollo you might have a point, but how is YOUR watching them on TV any different than MY watching them on TV? I've seen every one of those performances ............... 20 times. it's not about the leads or the groupYep, that's EXACTLY what I'm saying. next thing these kids will tell you is that the holocaust was made up by jews as a conspiracy!Hyperbole does not become you Sukka.

hyperactivity does! without dragging this any further, i fully agree . however,fyi, did you know that a large percentage of high school students in countries around the world did not believe that the jews had been exterminated by the nazis and that is was either fiction or exaggeration? in fact 22 % of adults agreed with that! this is according to the simon wiesenthal center , and also to deborah lipstadt, who wrote a book attacking the holocaust revisionists and deniers, who then sued her and lost in court big time. many times throughout history young generations have lost touch with their world's past events. one third of today's youth think of memorial day as a day off and a traditional start of summer activity-and don't know what it memorializes! |

I feel privaleged to say I aint part of that 22% phew! :hairraiser: im pretty good at History ive just took my exams in it and am going on to College to study it. Its usually English history though int he later courses, still interesting all the same though. |

 Hi everybody! Sometimes when I come in and post these news articles, I feel like a hit and run driver because I don't always have time to comment or stick around and see what everybody has to say. I think it's funny though, to come back and read the entire thread I started, especially when a heated banter results like the one here. There is no better subject for this than Dennis vs. Otis and I have to say that I find myself reading with expression because of the innocent folks that venture in on Mikey's defensive territory. I gasp and grin and step back....waaaay back, because I know what's coming next........ (((MIKE)))

I don't care what anyone says,The Temptations is Otis Group...he created it and as long as he's in the group there will only be ONE Temptations,the review is the imposters...they're taking credit for what The Temptations have done...it makes no sense creating a group with the name temptations in it and singing all their songs...do your own thing,start calling yourselfs the review instead of the temptations review and make your own music!!!....GO OTIS!!!! Tempts 4-ever Riddle me this,BATMAN....tell me what did he create for the group,their suits? NO..Their dancing? HELL NO !!...The Four Headed Microphone stand? NO...The harmony? NO....The knife in the back? YES! And you're bragging? I think you need to enroll in Temptations 101 and maybe after you complete the course,then you might know what you're talking about!
