I haven't seen Otis' group live, but honestly I wasn't impressed with their performance on Oprah.... I know that isn't a fair assessment probably. And, since the Review is still fresh in my mind!!!!!! ;D
Just an aside.... and I'm not trying to spread rumors.... but last night I needed to find a VHS to record "Finding Forrester" which was on A&E. I decided I would use the one I used to record the Temps on Oprah, but that I would view it one more time. After watching it again, I am 100% sure Bo is wearing a wig. What does it matter? Well....my little mind started trying to figure out why Bo would wear a wig?? And tied it all in to the rumor about him leaving. I won't tell you my thoughts... but I started wondering about Otis....his lack of hair... possibly Bo's lack of hair, etc.
I just can't make sense of why a guy like Bo would wear a wig. Y'all know that's not his hair!!!

Actually, no..... it's like this. Before the Review came out on stage in Pueblo, I didn't have any preconceptions. In fact, I was half expecting a "not so lively performance." (As far as they are a little older now, etc. and based on the PBS Special.) Well, from the moment they came out for "Standing on the Top," it was *not* that way. It shocked me!!!! I thought, "Look at that energy!" Now, I've not seen the Classic Five live, so I'm not going there.... but I must say I was impressed!
Then Otis' group on Oprah....again, I have *no* opinions one way or the other.... they walk out, start "Get Ready" and it was like Senior Citizens on parade. Even Bo seemed to lack energy, and isn't he the youngest? Maybe they didn't have the space to move on Oprah's stage or something--that crossed my mind. Maybe the sound mix wasn't good. I'm not going to make any judgments based *just* on that one showing, which was brief. I'm going to wait until I see them in September.... but I'm hoping it is better than what I saw!

LOL! Bo's wearin' a wig!!!! ha ha ha haaaaaa!!!! You know I'm never gonna let that one go away!!!! Heee heee!!!! Funny. But yeah, that's really not a fair comparison. Maybe you should compare the PBS show to the Oprah show. See them both and then decide which we know you'll do 'cause you're a smart little peach!

And Bo's not the youngest, Terry is. Bo's 40 something I think and Terry's 30 something.

I heard the interview with Dennis. Denny is just a happy man. He is just a happy guy. Just laughing and giggling. That's nice to see. He's sounds as personable as his smile is. He has always seemed like a warm character.
I'll have to say that dude who kept yelling out "the real Temptations" was getting on my nerves. But I guess If you want the old school authenticity, you have to listen to Denny.

And Bo's not the youngest, Terry is. Bo's 40 something I think and Terry's 30 something. So that makes it even worse!!! They have *two* guys younger than all of the Review. Combined!  Peach

If it make you all feel better, they are all older than me. Hmmm, maybe that doesn't make people feel better. But hey, that did it for me. :dancing:

I have no problem with saying that I'm 46. There are a lot of my former classmates that didn't make it to 30, so I am happy to be here alive and kickin' and still loving the Temptations. :dancing:

I'd be crowing all over the world, tdallasw! I see your avatar!! ;D "Yea, I'm 46!!! And don't I look good!" You truly do look fabulous!! I love that picture! I keep praying my face & body holds up at least for 10 more years, or at least until I get married. (Y'all know I'm teasing, right?) Peach
