FOUR TOPS AND TEMPTATIONS RETURN TO UK
FOR NOVEMBER TOUR
Legendary Motown bands The Four Tops and The Temptations return to the UK in November 2003 for 11 spectacular dates. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday 28th March (details below).
The Temptations, who were recently nominated for a Grammy, will feature founder member Otis Williams together with Terry Weeks, Harry McGilberry Jr, and G.C. Cameron.
The Temptations are going into the studio shortly to record a new LP, "DUETS" which will feature several of the bands hits with updated tracks and new vocals as well as guest vocalists including some from Motown's current roster.
Ronaldo Benson and Abdul ³Duke² Fahkir from the original line-up with The Four Tops are joined by Theo Peoples and Lewis McNeir.
The shows will be bigger and better than ever and include Four Tops standards ³I Can¹t Help Myself², ³Bernadette², ³Standing in the Shadows of Love² and ³Don¹t Walk Away². The Temptations will be performing a new medley as well as classics including ³My Girl², ³I¹m Gonna Make You Love Me² , ³Just My Imagination² and ³The Way You Do The Things You Do.²
Motown has produced many outstanding acts but few have reached the iconic status of the Tops and the Temps. They provide the soundtrack of people¹s lives and sound as fresh and exciting now as they did in the Sixties when Motown conquered the world.
