Well that was nice. I wish it had been more of an interview thing, but like I said, it was nice. What did you think of THIS one Aba?  It's ok, you can just whisper it in my ear.  And since we're on the subject, what IS everyone's favorite tune off of Ali's CD? Mine is "Turn Out the Stars." That one will leave you sobbing like a big baby! And I wanna know, which one of those callers was my man Mikey? ;D |

Mine is also "Turn Out The Stars". He made "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" a whole new song, and I like it, but 'Stars' really grabs me.
His comment about the difference between 'Treat her Like a Lady" and most of today's music should have come with a monitor warning! ;D ;D ;D

I kind of agree with both you and Kalisa. I don't have the Ali cd yet. I always forget you can get stuff on the net cause I am so old fashioned i never shop that way and San Antonio is the dead zone when it come to music off the beaten track. I heard those two cuts you guys mentioned and I need to get that cd.

I didn't get a chance to attend I wanted to drive to San Antonio but I was just tooo tired. I just was curious I wanted to see if you attended. Deneice Williams performed.

I drove to the show in San Antonio last year when Chaka Khan performed. Of course it was on a Friday so it was no big deal but considering that so many people were off on Monday I was afraid that if I drove down there I wouldn't be able to get inside considering how long the line was last year.

maurice is a heck of a nice guy, but i hope his bass singing is better than his journalistic approach. 0 for 2 in his 2 interviews.
