Hope everybody had a nice weekend, as we all know school will be back soon and in some states it's here. I know most of the fans are older fans like myself and we remembers this James Brown song. I will say when I was in this foster home I would get 50 cent per day. To ride the bus cost 50 cent 25 cent up and back. Back then the school I went to didn't have a school bus so that made us have to get to school the best we could that was back in the early 70's. And my lunch was 50 cent. So I had to decide did I want lunch or did I want to ride the bus. I decided lunch. So there for I would have to walk to school three miles in the winter and man would I be cold. To make it to school in time I would have to leave that foster home at 4:am every school day. The reason I wouldn't take a lunch locks would be on the refrigerator door and if I was not there in time for dinner I wouldn't eat. I would get so discouraged going to school in all that cold I would cry and ask god when would it all end. This song would come in mind and I would go on but no mends was it easy for me here's the song.

Hey, otisann! Long time, no see!!

Yeah, I'm going back to school on Monday. High school is going to be different for me, but I'll manage. Man, I wish school could be like it was back in the day: stay in middle school until 9th and only having to go the HS for 3 years. I have to pay a whomping $1.50 for my lunch, and the food isn't even all that great! The worst part is is that here in Memphis, we have to wear uniforms.

I'm sharing a lots in my book but as I said before there's no tell all book so I want tell yall my book going to be a tell all book because it want. Most things I'm keeping to myself but I will tell enough.Yall know the other day I reading others temps board and people was saying they hate Otis because he lied about the way the other temps die'ed See being an author my self this the way it works if your sale the rights to your book or you let your editor edit. Now lets say I'm otis publishior. Otis how would you llike to sale you story?" Otis" No man but you can edit for me, Ok Otis now you know I will be taking out and puting in is thats ok with you Otis? sure. So next time Otis sees his work it's not the way he sent it in. Otis" man why you put Davied was push out of the car dead? Edit Otis man every bodys dies in the hospital man so I change it a little bit man thats all. Otis" man why you put blue in his mother kitchen dead? editor Otis man as I said everybody dies in the hospital man Otis thats what us editors does we changes the story to make it more interesting

Today was the CRAPIEST FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL EVER! I alreday have three homework assignments, I don't know anyone in my Biology class, and lunch...ehhhhh.....I can't even describe that. The food they had was crapy, so I just started on some of my homework. It was noisy, crowded, and unbearable. Finding my classes was easy, although it's hard to believe. My creative writing teacher seems cool, and I have 3 honors classes. (Creative Writing is considered one of them) My history teacher plays music in her class (everthing, from African to Old-School)! Other than that, I'm very disappointed with my first day. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better!

A random tidbit for you.

As I was leaving my history class, my teacher turned her music back on, and she played "Just My Imagination"! "IS THAT 'JUST MY IMAGINATION'", I shouted. My teacher told me yes and that she was sorry that she couldn't play it earlier (Yes, I've confessed my obssession to the entire class ;D). So, the rest of the day I just kept pouting, knowing that I could've heard one of my favorite songs of all time in my history class.

Oh, well. *sigh*

Today, I had a ball in my Creative Writing Class! We have this thing called Coffee Shop every Friday; you can bring whatever you want: a poem, a short story, music, etc. Well, today I brought my "Emperors of Soul" box set thst I just recently got for my b-day and a few Stevie Wonder songs. We have a big Stevie Wonder fan in the class, so she was thrilled to hear the CD that I made. The real surprise was when I put on the Tempts. I played quite a few songs, including "Get Ready", JMI, "I Can't Get Next to You", "I'm Losing You", etc. Almost everyone in the class was singing and dancing along with the music, laughing, sipping on coffee, and having a great time. It REALLY did my heart good!

Just thought I'd share that with you!
